The character you are talking about is Lily. And no, I think you're wrong. I've already seen this movie 3 times to pretty much know that your assumption is incorrect, but I get why you think that.

I know it is a figment of her imagination but what I was saying is that to Nina, it was real and I bought her belief of it being real. What I mean is, I was right there with her for every step of her breakdown. It wasn't real but it felt real. I'm not getting my point across very well lol

I know the sex and everything was in her head, I don't think it actually happened, but as I was watching I was right there with Nina...Am I making sense?

lol yeah you are making total sense. I know exactly what you mean. I felt it was real too up until that specific scene. After that I was just like, ok, no way, and everything made sense to me afterwards

I like to think the point of this film is that what was real and what was not is for the individual viewer to decide, and that there are very few points where you can go "that definatly did/didn't happen".

I believed the sex scene between Lily/Nina. Don't forget that Nina was on drugs at the time. Unless you think that it being put in her drink was a manifestation of her psychosis.

I saw the movie a few hours ago...I am gonna throw very few spoilers SO BE WARNED!


I kinda felt from the very beginning that Lily(mila kunis) might not be real...i have come to a conclusion: Nina was seeing herself in every other person and Lily was what she had to become... Surely it was an amazing movie, Natalie impressed me and surpised me...I have to admit that some scenes were disturbing and I didn't exactly understand the necessity of their existence(although I got what they meant). Certainly it's a movie with a big psychological message. Using the ballet and the Swan lake story to demonstrate a person's struggle(turned out to be psychosis) to be perfect while losing herself in the process.

The message was perfectly clear to me...but it was an intense movie.
