Does anybody else find this to be the filler and worst episode of the first season?

It was a so-so episode. There was the Lindsey trying to do the right thing and then (not literally) selling his soul to W&H, so that was a nice piece of development. As is usually the case in the Whedonverse this episode was the denouement before the end of season finale, so in that respect it did feel a little lacklustre.

I actually like this episode a lot. It's good for Lindsey's character development, and definitely shows that there are more shades of grey to the world of Angel than the normal black-and-white we got in Buffy's.

Its one of the best episodes of the entire series, and one of the very best of season 1

I love this episode!!!! I love how we see Lindsey's inner struggle here. We get a glimpse into his heart. I can't help but wonder whether his trajectory may have changed if angel had taken his attempt at turning over a new leaf a little more seriously. If he had given Lindsey the help he gave faith, maybe he too could have continued along the path of fighting the good fight.
