Blocking/blanking people

I was just wondering if it's possible to block a person on the boards. I don't want to have to leave the boards, but there are two members here that I think are trolls and I don't want to have to deal with trolls anymore.

Is it possible to block these two 'people'? Stop them from seeing my posts and stop seeing theirs? Otherwise I will be leaving I'm sorry to say.

I know theres a way to block you from seeing their posts but I dont think it blocks them from seeing yours. I think you can do it in their profile. I did it once because an old member had such horrible spelling I couldnt understand what he was saying. It just skips over their post in a thread.

If you block someone they can't see your posts and you can't see theirs. If by block you mean put someone on your ignore list? If so, placing that person on your ignore list does not stop them seeing your posts. There was a member a long time ago that I had on ignore and they still could see, respond to, and karma'd my posts.

I have put a few people on my ignore list in the past, and it just blocks their posts and informs you that they're on your ignore list. You can still click on a link to see their posts, if you want to, but as far as I'm aware, if someone is on your ignore list, they can still read and respond to your posts, but they can't Karma or PM you.

They can definitely karma you, you'll get the usual "You have __ karma posts" or whatever, but when you go to your User CP you won't be able to see the karma, who gave it to you or where it is.

Oh. Well, I've never been karma'd by anyone on my ignore list then, lol. I have had someone try to PM me, but they couldn't. At least I don't think they could. Hmm.
