Blocking gifs?

Is there a way to turn off gifs specifically?
I have turned off banners, is there a similar option for moving images? I cant remember how I got the banners hidden.


Not a big deal, no rush on replies, but just figured I'd at least ask. They're not too bad, it'd just save me getting motion sick on the scroll! Ta 🙂

There is only the option for signatures as standard in the software, but I will try to come up with a way for you. 🙂

@TamsinValencia I am on moblie and I see them, I think if i went back to using a laptop gifs wouldnt mess with my head as much, but I cant take the laptop out to the patio with the puppies!

Dont stress, I do it to myself by going on insta too, thats why all my posts about/after insta end up so cranky! Haha. I just get super motion sick, could never play video games or anything like that either.

If I can block them, bonus! If I can't, I'll deal 🙂

Okay, I think I got it sorted, but let me know - if you go to your Preferences, there is a check box for Hide Images.

I'm having trouble finding another FREE photo sharing app, so I'm being forced to learn a bit of coding. And since I'm VERY lazy, I'm not too happy about this. 😄

Definitely blocking images and some of the gifs, so still better than nothing, but a few gifs get through.

If there is a way to block from my device instead, Im happy to try that, but I dont know how.

No, the first post of that thread is one of the gifs that gets through as an example.
I've had signatures blocked for years haha.

Can you try now? It will block anything using the Media tags, though, including youtube videos.
