Has anyone watched this series??? I have a friend that tells me it is a great show, but I had never even heard of it before. I think I might try and catch the first couple of eps , but I want to know if it is worth my time. I guess it's about a lady PI who joins forces with a vampire to solve crimes, but she falls in love with him in the meantime.

ahh i so wanna see this but i just keep forgetting when its supposed to be on and stuff... I think the guy who plays the vampire is kinda hot so lol... plus it sounds so seductive and manipulative gotta love it 😀
 
I downloaded the first episode, but havent got around to watching it yet. I'll comment on it here later.
 
I like this a lot. I think Vicky is cool and I loved the chemestry between her and Henry. The banter between the two was great! The fight scene between Henry and that Freddie look a like demon was cool. I also loved the mention of the Hellfire club, and the fact that Henry still has a pocket watch. That bits cute 🙂
 
I thought the 2nd ep was pretty cool. Good story line, and the banter between Henry and Vicky was fun!
 
Well guys I think we usually keep discussion threads up at After Darkness if anyone keeps up with this show...

I think it's fairly decent, really cheesy and Canadian though. *shrug*
 
I got around to watching it today. It's not half bad. Granted it start off slow, when she finally met the vampire guy, their conversation was quite witty. They really tried to mesh elements of Veronica Mars/Buffy but left out all the teenage stuff.

So far i dont think it has the level of intelligent writing that both buffy and veronica mars had in their pilot episodes, but i saw a few glimmers of it (later on in the episode). Im going to watch a few more episodes to see if it gets better or worse.
 
This ghost was killing people 😉 With a twist of course lol. But we found out some little stuff about Vicky's tatoos on her wrists 😉
 
I liked last nights episode as well. I was a little freaked out at the beginning, that bit was quite scary lol
 
I recently watched the first 8 episodes. The show has potential, but right now it's nowhere near Buffy or Angel quality. In fact, it really isn't all that good to be honest.

Henry's character is a bit corny IMO. He's basically a long-haired Fabio vamp who gets a lot of ass but doesn't have that tragic hero thing going unlike all the best super heroes. Also, all the other supernaturals keep kicking his ass.

Vicky's okay, and I guess she'll develop some super powers as the show develops. For now she can touch (hurt) ghosts. Her goth chick assistant is hot, and her detective friend is an annoying idiot for now, but maybe that'll change over time...

The acting is a bit clumsy, but I guess that's normal when these shows start (watch episode 1 of Buffy if you need a reminder).
