I think I caught a blooper while watching "A New Man". Right after Giles chases Maggie down the street, he gets back in the car and I swear I could hear James laughing at him... Am I right?
If it is a blooper, they probably left it in 'cause it would have been in character for Spike to be laughing at Giles doing something mean, so I can see why. Or maybe it was in the script...
Or maybe I'm on crack and it was just the voices in my head laughing and not James at all.

Can anyone verify?? LOL

It's been awhile since I've seen that one, but I wouldn't say that's a blooper for sure. It doesn't seem out of character for Spike to enjoy seeing a woman terrified.

I just wondered, 'cause you don't see James while the laughter is going on... All you see is Giles getting back into the car and being like "Ok, let's go". I couldn't help but grin when I watched that part 'cause I swear I heard him chuckling... But it definitely sounded more like a JAMES laugh than a SPIKE laugh. 🙂

Couldn't blame him. I would have laughed watching that scene.
I did laugh watching that scene. More than once! I thought it was hilarious, the usually well-mannered Giles chasing "that harridan" or whatever he called her down the street. Heeeeeeeee! I'm grinning now just thinking of it!

I'm almost sure I remember Spike's giggle too, its fitting that he'd laugh either way. Just curious as to how James' laugh is different than Spike's... is Spike's more sinister? lol. 🙂

Spike doesn't ever really laugh, he more kind of sneers as he lets out one little huff or something. This was definitely a James chuckle. 🙂 Watch the scene and you'll hear what I'm talking about!

Well I haven't seen that ep yet, so I didn't see him laugh there. 🙂 I'll have to check it out though!

You haven't?!!! go watch it, NOW!
I wouldn't consider that a blooper.

Well, if it was scripted then it definitely wasn't a blooper, but a blooper is defined as A blooper is a short sequence of a film or video production which contains a mistake made by a member of the cast or crew. So if it wasn't scripted, then it was a mistake, but a fitting one. 😀 Either way, it's funny and makes me smile!

Hey, If I saw a giant demon chasing a lady down a street i'd be laughing my ass off too. The funnier part would be watching him trying to get back into the car with those horns. haha. I remember the laugh. It was definatly James laughing out of character. His laugh makes me laugh. lol.

I just thought it was hilarious 'cause it was Maggie Walsh. God I hate her. And also because it is so out of character for Giles to do something like that... Except for that time in "Puppet Show" when he said "I'm sorry....Your hair" to Cordelia to make her go away. LMAO
