Sorry for the down time folks. I actually didn't expect my host to respond so quickly about it, so I thought I would have had time to tell you all about it.

And after all that, the host gave me a backup from after I had contacted them about it, so it didn't really do any good. But upon closer inspection I think all we lost we the admin accounts, so we are good to go.

In the event the host can give me an older backup, the boards may go down again to restore it, but it shouldn't be as long as this time if that happens.

Again, sorry for all of this.

Buffy hun, these things happen... this person hasn't done his 'cause' any favours instead he's made quite a few buffy fans angry and we all know what happens when Buffy fans get mad... To Petition Online 😀

Don't worry, I think it's safe to say that no one on these boards is going to blame you for anything that has happened.

Don't go into all blame yourself mode, it's nothing. Your smashing so don't get all teary on 1 mistake. 🙂
 
I don't even think it's to be called a mistake ... it's to be called one dead %$|&?(^@-#! if I ever catch him.

It's really true that everytime Buffy fans get something they're against, their obvious solution is petitions, lol. At least Angel got a renewal! The petitions may not have helped, though.

Why is everyone telling Buffy that it's not her fault? Alright, it really isn't, but I'm sure she knows that...

I'm assuming its because she sent out an email to members saying that the boards were open and then they had to go offline again for a short while.
 
Its not her fault though she and the rest of you great mods do everything you can to keep this bored at its best and some jerk comes and screws it all up 🙁 people can be so rude....
 
Buffy does and awsome jobs working these forums so if anyone did blame her it is rude. Buffy you have nothing to worry about I think everyone pretty much understands that the place got hacked and its not a big deal if the boards had to be down a little bit longer. You were just trying to get this place back to its original form.

Keep up the wonderful work you definatly handled everything a lot better then more people would myself included 🙂
 
dont' worry, it' not your fault at all. I'm just glad the boards are back on, i was worried that it was my computer when i couldn't get on.
