Hi lovely people!

Dorms may be temporarly down, but there are still happening things in the houses of Vahla Ha'nesh, Drogyn, Raiden and Merrick. The only difference is that we're working closer together than usual. 🙂

It has been suggested by our lovely friends in raiden that we have a board appriciation theme in may. The idea is that each dorm come up with their own twist on the theme but that everything stems from appriciation of our lovely community.

In this thread we can plan the event and decide which dorm is doing which twist. 🙂 Nothing is decided yet (but a few ideas have come from the different houses about twists - I know drogyn had a high five idea, that raiden was talking about hugs and that VH might want to try something with kisses. You who had these ideas, please tell us more! 🙂) so suggestions and discussions are welcome. We prefects will be here to support and keep the theme and the excitement going. 🙂

Take this great chance to get to know people in the other dorms better and make new friends! :heart:
 
Seems like Merrick needs some ideas, what say you lads? What about a buddy night out theme? Like images of a Scooby sleep over or the FG singing We are the Champions (MINE! ;p).

Any other suggestions?

Aw this sounds like a really fun idea! I love having a whole board theme. We need to get the community feeling back. All of us united instead of divided. I like the high five, hugs, kisses those are all great ideas.
 
I suggested this in VH: what about if we had a secret buddy thing in this theme too? People could sign up and we handed one of another dorm and then you could spend the month guessing who was your buddy! And at the end of the month we could have a revealing ceremony!

Does anyone have links to the various house crests? I have VH's obviously, but the others would be handy for a banner or button using all crests.
 
I like that idea!! Like secret santa kind of would we make eachother stuff? we could make banners for the person we did that in Drogyn once. We write why we appreciate the person, if you can make banners you do or you can have someone make the banner and just come up with something you like about the person.

Yeah, you could leave little clues and presents to your secret buddy! I think we could have a lot of fun with this if we decided to try it! 🙂

I think [MENTION=11853]Jodast[/MENTION] brings up a good point when he asked for the other dorms crests: of course one could also choose to have a more general board appreciation theme too as well as a dorm specific one. Like sport banners with every dorm and go with a more general line. That would also be awesome!

We tried to do that in Merrick a few years back but we never quite got there, it would be great to revisit the idea on a board wide scale.
