there are quite a few free boards
stuff like proboards and ezboards which are poor at best(compared with most other board types) but they're good if you're new to the world of owning posting boards.
there are several other boardtypes out there which are free
like phpboards and ikonboards but they dont host their own webspace although there are quite a few adequate free webhosts out there also
look around and find out which suits you the best 🙂
