OMG, so upset there won't be any new eps till Nov! Arrrrgh!
This was the best one so far, imo! Great humor, the case was really interesting, the characters are coming together as a 'whole.' I loved so many scenes and lines in this one.
The Chinese restaurant was hilarious - "this counter over here is MINE. M-I-N-E, mine! All of this is MINE....." LMAO! Loved when he told the guy he should have let Sid choose his food, then he wouldn't be 'repeating." Ewwww!
I saw a few Angel-like mannerisms and expressions. Makes me wonder how much of the actor's personality gets put in to the characters they play. I mean, everyone has their way of moving, talking, etc. You can't change ALL of that, you know? I'm sure they incorporate some of that into the character. The part that brought Angel back for me was when they're interviewing the girl that slept with Nestor, Booth says, "TIRED of being lied to, so EXCUSE ME if I'm indelicate!" Ok, I can't see Angel saying the word indelicate....but the whole way he said it reminded me so much of Angel. Also, the part where Booth says, "Luckily, I'm good at keeping secrets."
Loved Dr. B's not letting go of Booth's "all the boring details" comment. LOL! He almost didn't live that one down!
Zack's dating problems were cracking me up - first there's the 'can't ride a bike or drive a car' thing. Then he's asking Booth about sexual positions and getting a, "If you even try, I'll take out my gun and shoot you between the eyes!" (I was LMAO!) Not to mention the talk in the SUV on the way to the crime scene - "We got a 45 minute drive, how about we pass it in quiet meditation, hmmm?"
Anyone notice how Dr. B is growing as a person from Booth's influence? It's like every week, she gets a little less automaton-like and a little more like a human. This week it was being 'better' with people, in conversation, etc. I thought that was kinda neat.
The show is definitely getting better. Can't believe there won't be new eps till Nov. Damn Fox!
