Bones General Season 3 Spoilers (FOX-US)

Ok, so this is not a spoiler. Even if there´s a lot of (small) "Bones"-threads no one seems to be one just for discussing the series in general and I don´t want to start a new thread unless there´s interest for more discussion. And since the season finale just ended now might not be the time.
But is anyone following this? The last episode was interesting to say the least. From start to finish. I havn´t checked if there´ll be a new season but I surely hope so. It´s keep growing on me and since I liked it from the start it´s now one of my favourite shows on tv. And I´m really glad John Francis Daley (Freeks and geeks, Kitchen confidental) now is a regular. He´s special but I really like him.

I can't believe what happened at the end of Bones. To be honest, I didn't see it coming. I mean, I knew it wouldn't be hodgins cause that's too easy. But darn! Who'd of thought.

I'm with you there, I really didn't see it coming either, never in a million years!
It was a really great episode, although it felt a little that they rushed to wrap the whole Gormogon arc up, but that may be because of the long break during the writers strike, as it felt like it had been a while since they had really addressed the storyline before the finale.

I don't think it made any sense. I know the scene at the hospital was to go through why that person thought that way, but it just didn't fit. I mean it was
. I do like Sweets though. I think he's a great addition to the cast. His relationship with Booth especially is hillarious!

Re Zach being the cannibal in training: Why would it be so hard to believe?
If I remember right,he went over to Iraq to serve in the armed forces,did he not? And we know what combat does to a soldier...what's to say that he didn't return from there changed in more ways than one(and not just in terms of his buzzcut do when he came back)?

I liked the finale. A lot of fans really, really hated it though. I liked Zack but not so much I'll miss him terribly and although the twist was unfortunately spoiled for me way before I got to see the finale, I thought it was really good.
During the finale, did anyone else think Brennan was dreaming at the beginning? I thought it was a dream sequence because it seemed so odd, up until Booth was explaining everything.

YES I was sure there was something askew with the opening scene too! Anyways the whole 'Gorgonzola' lol storyline WAS terribly rushed..and it had been so long since they had addressed the story that I sort of forgot some key things. Kudos to the uber creepy teeth dentures though..shudder. I was shocked about the Zach thing too..didn't really see that one coming at all. Funny thing was...both he and Brennan are very similar...yet she still can distinguish between right and wrong..so I didn't really follow the logic as to how it was ok for him to kill humans. Anhoo I love Bones! And I love Sweets being added to the cast as well!

Although throughout I got the impression Sweets was the guy.
Still not convinced he isn't. I know it is because they left red herring clues pointing to multiple people.
However, something about the name Sweet(s) and tooth(s)... just strikes me as a nice antonym for the situation.
Then there's always Sweetmeats...

I don't think he necessarily thought it was "OK", he simply thought the whole "human experience" thing had more value than an individual's life. And the way his brain works, it made perfect sense to him. Plus I think he was simply so disconnected from the rest of the human race that it impaired his judgment...Brennan is certainly a few degrees separate too, but I think she's a bit more rational plus she has more of a conscience, and she's come a long way in three years. 😉
