Bones gets a 12th season

I like Bones 🙂 I think i have seen in disorder the equivalent of seven seasons, then i stopped. Thanks to french channels which broadcast the show at any times and any way, that's completely discouraged me ! I think David made a good choice of carreer after the end of Angel and i hope for him he will do many others things after Bones because he is talented.

I thought they said the 11th season was going to be the last?

I've only seen one episode so can't really comment. It doesn't seem like my sort of thing. Seems that David is just going with the easy money now. Time for him to move on.

I swear this was supposed to end 3 times over already, did he die more on Angel or Bones? That was the last time I watched it. I didnt really like it after s4. Bored of police shows about 6 years ago.

Well that is part of the thing for me. This looks like so many other things on television. I can see how DB is well cast in it. But by about the fourth or fifth season they must have been really struggling to keep it fresh.

Yeah @MrTrick its the same thing over and over. The jokes and lines got old, the quirks all smoothed out a bit, there are only so many times you can do things. And one of my pet hates when they run out of ideas is hooking leads up and making them marry/family. So boring.

My problem is that I like crime shows, with maybe a little bit of relationship drama in there.
I enjoyed Bones for a while, but then I felt like it become a drama show, with a bit of crime as background noise, but the main theme is their relationship. That is not what I watch crime shows for 😛 Get to the dead people!

My sister is mental about the show, I once watched a commentary with her (I think it was for like season 4-5 or something) and one of the writers said that it was hard to come up with ideas and make it fresh and that one day it would just be like "the garden gnome did it!" I would keep watching if I actually believed the garden gnome would eventually do it 😉

I actually started the show in early January when I learned it was ending this year. I realized that if I wasn't binge watching it now (with a deadline), I would never do it. And for some reason I want to watch all shows with btvs actors in it.

I've finished season 6 yesterday. I've been told than it gets bad after that one so I hope I can keep it up.

Just hook up and get it over so we can move on with other stories.

But yeah, Bones is one of those shows that I still watch with one eye only and barely that. Haven't got much interested left.
The show lost much without Zack imho. It never recovered from that.

haha, I can't remember but it sure took a while.

I know that they did the frustrating, reverse roles at least once though.
When the first one finally has seemingly moved on it is time to start all over again. Now only with the other one living with unanswered loved. So annoying. lol

But I can't remember if Bones ever took that road.
