Great news for David!!! 🙂

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Fox Broadcasting Co. said Thursday it ordered a second season of "Bones," a crime drama starring Emily Deschanel.

"Bones" has bounced around the schedule this season but primarily aired in the Tuesday 8 p.m. slot until "American Idol" returned in January. It has averaged 8.4 million viewers so far this season, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Deschanel plays a forensic anthropologist and part-time novelist whose specialty is identifying bodies and solving crimes based on clues left behind in victims' bones. David Boreanaz plays an FBI homicide investigative agent who often works with her on investigations.

I never watched Bones but I think that it must be a good series since David is in it, GOODLUCK David
 
I liked Bones at first. But it is full of mainly crappy episodes with the occasional good one.
But it doesn't matter, I'm always busy during its new time slot. So oh well.

i'm actually really enjoying Bones, so this gives me a happy! yay!
 
I wasn't a fan. I am REALLY surprised that something like this gets a second season and firefly managed to get cancelled!

(Sorry I just watched firefly which I LOVE! and am still coming to terms with the fact that there isn't any more episodes!)
 
I really like Bones. I don't always remmeber to watch it but the episodes I watched I have really enjoyed, so I'm glad it's coming back.
 
I love this show so I'm glad it's been picked up for another season. I just hope they don't switch around its time too much. I haven't missed an episode since it started. I normally don't go for these crime type of shows but this one is so character driven that it's really good.

I'm glad it's been given a second season, I sometimes think the networks are too quick to cancel shows - ie Firefly (I just got through watching it too, and I can't believe they cancelled that show before the first season was even finished! How excellent was Firefly?!)

I like this type of show, and I think there is a good rapport between the cast so I'm hoping for even better things in Season 2. 😉

'How excellent was Firefly?!' I t was absofabsodidilydootly the third best show to ever grace our television screens! (The damn network wouldn't allow it!)
While I don't think Firefly was anything great, it was a much better show than what Bones is.

I'm surprised Bones wasn't cancelled after a few episodes, never mind getting a second season..
