More good news for UK folks, "Bones" has been picked up by Sky One.

After Sky One's success with Angel it seems that they love David, so they have picked up "Bones" in the hope of repeating the success. It is due to air early next year on Sky One, probably around January or February time.

Now just Kitchen Confidential and they'll all be picked up in the UK.
 
cool! i can't wait. 'Bones' sounds like a pretty awsome show!

A lot of American shows have been picked up already by several channels, 20 or so. Maybe its a security thing, after they air more people may want it, thus they'll have to pay more.
 
I have to say one thing. Yay! I really hope this show is good cos my hopes are really built up about it, but everytime he walks in sunlight I'm gonna get awfully confused...
 
I saw an advert for bones on sky one yesterday! (I'm from the uk btw)

It look great! Slayerpower was totally right, it airs on thursday the 12th on January.
 
Yeah I saw it too, It makes it look very intresting! I can't wait to see it.
 
Yeah, i'm going to be giving this a looksee, although given the amount of shows that are starting this month (Invasion, Smallville, Supernatural, the second halves of the new seasons of both SG-1 and Atlantis, etc) i think this is going to have to be really good to keep me watching. I just don't have enough free time at the moment to watch all the shows i want to and this one might not make the final cut.
 
I'm not really into the other shows you said, although i may watch invasion, but apart from bones there isnt anything else that sparked my interest.

In the advert I saw David Boreanaz didnt seem to be in it that much, well not as much as the woman. He is the main character, or one of them isnt he?
 
Well i'm just very thankful that all the new shows are on at different times. I'm looking forward to Bones but I also can't wait to see all the other ones that are starting this month. I will be tuning in to Invasion, Smallville, Charmed, The OC, and Supernatural when it starts.

I'm so happy that we are getting all these good shows all at the same time.

Try this. Discuss this week's UK Bones ep here. If there's reaction open a separate thread for next week's ep. If that's popular maybe we can petition Buffy Summers for a Bones in the UK sub-forum, or something.

You could always just go dig up the old ep discussion in the North American forum but you want to discuss with people who just saw it right?
 
aw the first eppy of Bones on SkeOne.I know it's early days but I enjoyed it and David was really good in it.I just hope it improves even more and isn't one of these shows that the networks keep on air for one season.
 
We saw the UK premiere last night as well and thoroughly enjoyed it. Mrs P is a big fan of the crime dramas and DB and I'm a fan of any well-made TV 🙂 The wife mentioned about how unusual it was to see DB in a scene shot in daylight...

All in all, a good night for SF telly yesterday at Pointy Towers - Bones' premiere, and I managed to watch the new season opener of Smallville (superb! btw), plus we got caught up with Invasion (shaping up nicely)

N4H - I think a UK sub-forum is a great idea, if demand justifies it.
