Bones - Pilot: Discussion Thread

I missed the pilot. I thought it was on at 9 instead of 8.:cussing: Does anyone know if Fox plans of repeating the pilot anytime soon. I didn't see anything on their website.

OK, for everybody who missed, the pilot of Bones is re-airing on FOX at 8 pm (Eastern) Friday night (tomorrow) Watch, it kicks, I'm gonna.

Where as shows like Supernatural and Kitchen Confidential weren't even on my "give it a chance" list this season Bones was. However it's officially off the list. I had low expectations and even those weren't met. This show was bland in nearly every possible way except they did make some good casting choices. Too bad their forced chemistry failed. Also the moment of redemption when he proves he really wants to do this job and not just follow the chain of command was so overscripted. My God this show was rank amateurish. I had no idea that David Boreanaz would lower himself to something so bad just to get back on tv. He can't honestly say he believed in the premise and script. If FOX cancels any show this season Bones should be it.
 
I have to admit I had high hopes, it had David and it sounded like the show I normally watch (i'm big on CSI and Law and Order types). I love the books but as for the show i'm not keen. It had a few smirk worth moments but other than that I thought it was just bland and didn't really hold my attention.

I know its a case of its not the books its the show, but I wasn't impressed with the character of Tempe, she's not the one I enjoy reading.
