Kind of cool. Bones doubled the ratings of the show it replaced last season, and was the biggest debut for Fox since 24. I think it was 10.7 million viewers or something, but here's a link.

Yayyyyy! That's good news! Let's hope that 10.7 million viewers are tuned in next week, too. And the week after, and the week after......Go David and Emily!
 
Oh oh this is good! Hopefully it'll stay this way! Have my fingers crossed.

Wow, that's great! Especially considering the season premiere for Nip/Tuck was last night, too. I don't watch N/T, and don't even know if it's in the same time slot. I know it's a huge hit tho, and a lot of people will tune in to a particular network even earlier than the show they want to see is on, just so they won't have to search for it at the proper time.
 
It was up against According to Jim premiere, NCIS premiere, and Gilmore Girls. Last week it was only against GG and NCIS rerun. It kept around 70% of its audience if I'm doing the math correctly.

The Baseball play-offs will air in October instead of "Bones".

Let's take a look at the ratings, before leaving the show for a month.
First week:
8.4/13 in the overnights (#1), 10.48 million viewers and a 3.8/11 among adults 18-49.
Second week:
5.7/ 9 in the overnights (#3), 7.27 million viewers and a 3.0/ 8 among adults 18-49.
Third week:
5.8/ 9 in the overnights (#2); Viewers: #3, 7.57 million; 3.1/ 9 among adults 18-49 (#2).

Altogether not bad, but the second and third week weren't the ratings of a real hit. The ratings are ok, and they will hopefully increase a bit, when "American Idol" becomes the lead-in. "House" wasn't a big hit in the beginning, either. Leaving as second most watched series of the timeslot is a good thing, let's hope, the viewers won't forget "Bones" and turn to other shows, while it is gone.
 
*can't* wait for dvd release..it is a good show i love crime stuff.D.B cracks me up in Bones.

Just one other thing didn't that girl in Death row man (the lawyer) look like "dawn" in Buffy?
