Fox is showing early support for new fall entries "Bones""Bones" and "The War at Home," picking up a full season of both frosh skeins.
The "back nine" orders guarantee a full 22-episode season for both skeins. The shows have performed well so far for the net, which previously had also greenlit a full season of fellow new entry "Prison Break."
As for "Bones," the procedural drama (paired with hit "House") has given Fox a solid Tuesday night performance, averaging 8.7 million viewers and a 3.1/10 with adults 18-49 after three weeks.
"Bones" stars Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance Brennan, a forensic anthropologist who helps FBI agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) investigate murder cases.
Barry JosephsonBarry Josephson and Hart Hanson exec produce the show for 20th Century Fox TV.
"'Bones' is a good formula for us," Erwich said. "The show has delivered on what we asked it to do, and Emily and David are stars. There's not quite anything like it on TV or in the landscape of crime dramas."
