In honor of Glastonbury starting today thought this be fun to do. If you were putting on your own music fantasy which bands/artists would you have on the bill? There are no restrictions. So you can have people who are no longer with us, Bowie for example. Have as many stages as you want. Think I might go for three. And put as many acts as you like on each stage. Just as one rule I was thinking we could have a film tent, so if each of you want to choose five films to screen that would be cool. Have fun😛

Glastonbury will be out of business.

Hmmmm...interesting idea...maybe have 3 different stages. One for Alt 90's rock/punk with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Rancid & The Clash. A second for classic rock with Beatles, Hendrix, Creedence, Joplin, Dylan & the Stones. Maybe 3rd be hodgepodge of Indie, Blues, miscellaneous with The Heavy, Jessica Lea Mayfield, Billie Holiday & Deap Vally. 🙂

Really interesting line up! The mention of Falco reminds me of that bit in High Fidelity when the Jack Black character mentions that his band's influences are mostly German and the Cusack character teases him, "Yeah what like, Kraftwerk, Falco, Hasselhoff?😛

Nothing against Glen but I saw the pistols in 96 at Finsbury Park with him. Just seeing Sid would be cool!

I will grant you that seeing Sid up close in a Texas club with a nosebleed and cut up stomach would be quite an experience.

So cool you even got to see the Pistols. I really wanna see Johnny live. I am not sure if the last reincarnation of PiL is still going. The butter commercial really paid off.

Glen is definitely a million times better musician than Sid.

It was a great experience, but John was singing a bit PiL style. I appreciate recreating a style from 20 years previous would be hard and he's grown and changed but it threw me. Still, hearing the sound of the whole crowd drowning him out singing bodies when they came on was amazing!!
