Books I should read?

I watch to much tv and am lookin for some new Books to get into. I read laurell k hamilton books and its takes forever for a new one to come out. I do but lots of comics but i was lookin for a new Author to read any suggestions?? x

hell yeah will check it out just need a in between books , i love lisa jane smith but she wrote all these books called nightworld and she never wrote the last in the series and thats been about ten years now x

I just read the Libba Bray trilogy...'A Great and Terrible Beauty,' 'Rebel Angels,' and 'The Sweet Far Thing' and wow. SO GOOD. I would also recomment the His Dark Materials Trilogy by Phillip Pullman. FANTASTIC. So much better than the Golden Compass movie.

I read a lot of the Discworld novels-a good mixture of classic fantasy with a lot of humour. You should give them a try, I think you would like them.

Read anything. Read everything. Go to the library and grab something at random (Back in the days when I actually had time to read, I used to check out ten or twelve random somethings at a time.) If it's terrible, chuck it and pick up the next. Surprising how much good reading you can run across by accident like that.

if you like zombies, Brian Keene (though he's done a couple of non-zombie related novels). And for overall horror, Bentley Little.

If you like thrillers then try anything by Nelson Demille...The Lion's Game (WOW) and Up Country (Wowzaa!)...these are my favourites of his. They are really long tooso you can really get into them. They are about an FBI agent. Really great, absorbing reads.

You might try Kelly Armstrong. She writes a "Women of Otherworld" series that includes "Bitten" and "Stolen" about werewolves. Also F Paul Wilson, who wrote "The Keep" and several others. Clive Cussler is an absolutely great adventure writer, and of course there's Tom Clancy.

I was just about to post to recommend Kelley's books but you've beaten me to it WA 🙂

The series came recommended to me by killerdwarf, who some of you will no doubt remember from his time as a mod here.

Mrs P has started working her way through them now and pronounced them to be just the sort of thing she wants to read on her daily commute 🙂

Also, Patricia Briggs has a series about a "walker" and a bunch of werewolves--Blood Bound, Iron Kissed, etc.
