Chris Meloni (Law & Order: SVU) has taken over the role of Green Lantern from David Boreanaz in the upcoming Animated Film.
Boreanaz recently starred in a new generation of animated films aimed at a teen/adult audience. The movie, Justice League: The New Frontier was quite successful where Boreanaz lead the cast as Hal Jordan, opposite Neil Patrick Harris (Dr. Horrible, Doogie Howser, How I Met Your Mother), Lucy Lawless (Xena) and Brooke Shields (Suddenly Susan).
The movie received an Emmy Nomination in the Animated Film Category.
I really enjoyed the movie, it was clearly aimed at a mature audience and as fan of DB & NPH, I got even more of a kick out of it. But a new film in the series will have Chris Meloni, the star of Law & Order SVU replacing Boreanaz. Thoughts?
