"Bored Now"

Is it me, or did anyone else get chills down their spine when Willow said "bored now" in Villains? I mean, to me, that symbolized that Willow was essentially "gone". Like she really had lost her mind.

What do you guys think?


P.S. I would just like to add that it was one of those "kick-ass moments" 😛

I love that that scene too!
Yeah, it was a very hard scene because Willow plays with life and then she gets bored like a three-years old child. And in the end she let the life drop to play with the next one. Very scary.

I don't think it gave me the chills, but I always thought the phrase seemed really childlike, which makes me think that vampire Willow/evil Willow sees everything as a game, which is pretty scary.
 
I always thought it connected to Vamp Willow and Willow saying "she messed up everything she touched. I don't ever want to be like that." And the sad irony that she had become evil just like Vamp Willow.

But it was quite the badass moment. I cheered the first time I saw it.

That seriously never occurred to me...yikes. I mean it's basically like Joss knew that he wanted to make her evil. I'm sure he did, he apparently plans everything really far in advance. I mean maybe he didn't know exactly how it'd happen, but he probably wanted to make them all evil, in some way, at some point.

Also, I /love/ that line.... Planning a Dark Willow / Skinned Warren costume for Dragon*Con this year, btw. If anyone has any advice for the skinned-alivedness of Warren, it'd be mucho appreciado.

Haha. Well, it's true. He killed one of my favorite characters, while attempting to kill Buffy. He deserved worse.
 
Just rewatched Villains and forgot how much I loved this part. It does give me chills. On one level, it's really tragic to watch Willow so consumed with grief and rage that she would kill, but it's still so satisfying. The "Bored now" is definitely eerie (partly since it recalls vamp Willow), but it's also kind of funny in a morbid way "“ after Tara's death, you kind of have to share in the childlike pleasure she takes in killing Warren.

Going to steal that gif, too, if you don't mind. There's got to be a use for that somewhere.
