I just thought I would open a thread to give you all a chance to say goodbye to Bored of the Dead.

Very soon, he will be gone, but never forgotton.

I wanna thank you all for playing along with me and what not.

For what little its worth, what I thought I riddled from your posts is that your overall a good guy with strong beliefs and usually well informed. Those are great charcateristics and ones I'll miss having around here.

Sure you can't be convinced to stay if only in drive-by part time fashion?

Boo, deserter! I don't think you should go... I'll admit at first I thought your views could get a little harsh but I actually agree with you quite a bit, I think you're most definately an asset to conversation... most of the time. (I had to add that last part to balance out the ego stroking :silly: )

Hmm are you actually leaving the boards or just changing your name? is there a real life issue that will stop you coming here or have you just got bored?

Naturally you will be missed by many 🙁

ohh and you posed a couple of questions, not a few - just thought I would clear that up for you!!!
No disrespect but I hate threads like this. And notice that I said threads, not that I hated you. But it´s a good thing to be able to say good bye to someone you like so if you´re leaving it´s good to let people know. So why do I "hate" them? From my past experience they´ve mostly been made by people that either a) comes back again and again or b) wants some kind of ego boost. Not that I shouldn´t let past experiences influence my new ones. I´m human so sue me. But I´ll admit that since it´s you it feels more like you´re either leaving for real or just are having some fun (want to see the reactions you´ll get). But if you are leaving for real of course you´ll be missed in many ways (and some ways a little less). And I wish you the very best no matter what the reason for leaving are. And yeah, a name change was the first thing that came to my mind too. Not sure if that says more about me or about you.
