I actually agree that it's probably the smartest thing for gay people to do now, but I don't think it's the ideal approach in the long run, instead of trying to show how everybody's the same to people who are afraid of what's different I think we should focus on, I hate using this word but in lack of a better one, teaching them that diversity is awesome. I see your point. And I agree, being able to focus on "diversity is awesome" would be great. But that's not really going to get us to our goal. After we get there... we can go to diversity is awesome... But as a side not sort of... if you've ever been to a pride parade, you should know "diversity is awesome" isn't the message. "HOMOSEXUAL SEX IS THE BEST THING EVER" is. They're WAY oversexualized. I get the reason why they were made that way when they first started... they NEEDED to be outlandish, make a statement, and let people know "Yes they did have sex with members of the same sex. And they were dam proud of it!!!" Things change over time and the statement we need to be making should change too. We need to say "Yes we LOVE members of the same sex, and we're people just like you." Then after we achieve equal rights, we can maybe switch to "Diversity is awesome."
 
I can't stand her. Everything about her is fake, manufactured, and done for shock value so she can make more $$$. She has absolutely no integrity or originality at all. I'm glad to see that there's people here that aren't fans of her, because I was honestly starting to believe I was the only one.

I like the music, it's fun to dance to, but not a big fan of the videos or the words. It's really just the beat I like.
I usually really love Lady Gaga's music, but I feel like this song was just written to get her more publicity and to make a statement, and that is when art starts to lose its value for me.
I think she's a really talented singer, and her songs are usually really catchy, but lately her antics off stage are just too much for me to really like her as an artist anymore. I can enjoy the music, but she herself is just a little too much for me. She does things just for the sole purpose of pushing boundaries, and I don't feel that anyone who does that can truly be supportive of the cause they're supposedly fighting for you know?
Anyway, the song is alright but not my favorite.
