As some of you may already know I am pregnant at the moment, and my hubby (Wesley) and I are going for a detailed 20 week scan on Monday afternoon. Hopefully we should be able to find out if it's a boy or a girl.🙂

Just for a bit of fun, and to see how accurate you all are I thought I'd ask you guys to take a vote on it.

Just for the record, we already have 4 boys.😉

I'm not going to vote - don't want to jinx anything! 'lol'
 
Congratulations Anya! I'm so Happy for you! I hope everything goes well for you on Monday! I voted for a girl because you've already had 4 boys and because little girls are so sweet! It's fun buying them cute little outfits and doing there hair, but either way I hope that your baby will be born healthy and that you'll be okay too, but I'm sure that you'll be fine and will have the most perfect and beautiful baby in the world!
 
wow congrats! well i'm going for girl, but whatever it is, i'm sure it will be healthy and that's the important part!
 
Well! Congratulations to the both of you!

I think it will be a girl, because chances of it being a boy are 0,032 % and so offcourse the remaining 99,968 % are the chances of it being a girl. (This all excludes the chances of having a twin) ... but on the otherhand, nature doesn't allways work by math, so you'll never know for sure!
 
I voted for a boy... merely because everyone else voted for a girl. *lol*

How'd you work that out? The chances are 50/50 as always. Boy is my choice - I flipped a coin 😉

Congratulations! I hope that your baby is born healthy and beautiful and you have a smooth birth, despite what sex it is. 🙂 You must be very happy! Congratulations again! 😀

I actually read though, that if youve had so many boys, the chances of you having a girl are minimal, not other way around?! Lol. Oh well, congrats!

I voted Boy, but Congrats on the baby. Hope you have many great years of happiness and headaches! (well ok not the headaches) but the Happiness for sure!

You have my utmost admiration to be raising soon to be five children!!.. i have two children, one of each and that is enough for me (apart from medical reasons forbidding me not to have any more). My son is nine and my daughter will be two next month. I was spot on with both of my children, predicting their sexes.. my husband said that he thought our youngest would be a boy, but i said, "no, it's definitely a girl". I don't know why i said it, i just did, i wanted a girl so much and went the ultrasound and amnio confirmed it, i was overjoyed. She's the light of my life. 🙂

What does your "gut instinct" tell you?

5 kids. Wow, when the time comes, I don't even know if I'm going to have one child yet. Anyway, I don't know how you do it because I'm definitely adopting. If it were me, I think I'd want it to be a surprise, but then again with all the "should we get pink or blue clothes?" -- could be trouble. lol I voted for 'Boy' because, well, just because.🙂
 
Congratulations! I personally come from a big family. I'm the second oldest out of 6! I voted for a girl because, well, you already have enough men at home, and I'm a feminist. Wait. Does that make any sense? LOL, oh well. I just hope that whatever it is, it'll be healthy. I'll keep you and the baby in my thoughts. I'll be sure to do a blessing for it, when the time comes!
 
i took a guess, and voted a girl, lol. either way i'm sure it'll be a very happy healthy baby 🙂
 
When i was expecting my son, we didn't find out the baby's sex in advance.. it didn't occur to us that we could, and the surprise was wonderful. He's a very special boy. But when i found out we were expecting our daughter, we talked about whether we'd find out or not.. until complications sort of helped the subject along (had a amnio because of a high Down's Syndrome result in the 16 week blood test).. but when we got the all clear, we found out and it didn't spoil our surprise. It made planning for her arrival easier and we named her and to us she was "Hannah" and not "the baby". Unfortunately we didn't get all that much time to plan her arrival as she was born 12 weeks prematurely.. but she's absolutely fine, she'll be two next month 🙂

As i've already said, i don't think it really spoils the surprise.. her arrival made things more real to us, she was a little person. The real surprise to us was wondering what she looked like, whether she'd resemble me or her dad or be a mixture of both (she's a mixture of both) 🙂

My gut instinct? Well, with the others it alwyas told me they were boys - no doubt. This time I keep saying to everyone that I really don't know - all I do know is that this pregnancy has been totally different to the others. I was sick more, couldn't stomach anything but water. I'm ten times more emotional, and the foods I crave now are all sweet things, or dairy products, like cheese, yoghurts, apple and orange juice. With the 4 boys it was all savoury things. That could just be wishful thinking on my part though 'lol'

Anyway, at least by sometime tomorrow afternoon we should know, as long as it's lying in a good position - knowing our luck it will have its legs crossed and we won't be able to see! I will be sure to post on here to let everyone know how it goes though.😉 At the end of the day, whatever the scan reveals we'll be pleased as long as everything is ok, and the baby is healthy. We just need to know because buying for unisex is so hard - there is absolutley nothing around, well nothing half decent anyway. It's so much easier if you are buying for a girl or boy.😀

I remember you were either pregnant or had not long had your daughter when I first joined BuffyUK - I can't believe she is nearly 2 now! How time flies! She was so tiny it's hard to think of her as nearly 2 yrs old.🙂

god i remember keenie's sickness and stuff...can't believe it was sos long ago....only about 15 mins to go til I find out....text and tell me dammit!!! and Anya hon you know what I want...co I know its what youv wanted 😀
