I just found out today that a television pilot script I wrote made it into the Semi-Finals of a writing contest I entered.

As for what it's about. Hmmm...
Well, the logline goes something like this:

A down on his luck New York Suspense novelist receives a mysterious inheritance and relocates to a small Northern California logging town.


There's suspense and intrigue and comedy, a hero (I built him around James Marsters), a powerful wizard, a damsel in distress and an old house with a library filled with enchanted books.

You know, your typical boring hour of television that nobody like us would want to watch...

Actually I figured about the James thing when I saw the Logging town thing...but the story sounds really cool! I hope you win! 😛
 
lol, sounds like it could be cool....I'm more for the "juicy details" but congrats, that's really a good way to "ring in the new year"
