Brains or beauty...

If you could be really smart but unattractive or really beautiful but no where NEAR the brightest crayon in the box which would you choose?

I'd rather have smarts myself. Looks don't seem to matter if you have a lot of wit and personality. Nothing is hotter than a smart and witty guy.
 
I'd choose brains. Beauty fades so in the end what are you really left with. Plus if your smart you can make loads of money and then people don't seem to realise that your unattractive, so that's kinda the best of both worlds 🙂
 
depends...on the situation...if i were in cave man days...i'd choose smarts in a heart beat...

now days...hmmm...good looking...kinda of what i am now...i'm no where near hella smart...although i'm not your conventional good looking..more of the unconventional variety...

for a dude...to be smart...and not good looking...isn't as bad as being a smart unattractive woman....nerdy dudes sometimes luck out and find a chick that digs the whole nerd persona...lol
 
lol...i think that allot more people in this gen are dorks than in past gens...wheather its good or bad...it remains to be seen...but i think its cool...less people taking themselves seriously is always cool...
 
Agreed SG. Being too serious is like not stoping to smell the roses. Unless you're allergic, then I guess THAT coul be pretty serious...
 
If I was looking for some action I would choose beauty before brains, but in an ordinary life and all...I would rather have brains, I could make lotsa money and pay plastic surgery. If you're hot all you can do is hope that you will make money on your looks while you most likely will not.
 
I'd totally be smart because at least then i could get a good education... and then all i gotta do is get plastic surgery so its all good lmao cause i'll have the money...
 
Brains definitely; I prefer staying in to going out and partying, so with my current personality, I'd prefer to kick my IQ score up a few notches 🙂
 
I would chose brains, but I dont mean to sound shallow, if she was really ugly, but smart, I wouldnt bother!

I always tell my friends "Geeks are in...", but I only say it because Willow said it once, and I know that I'm a complete geek. And I really do think that's true. I'd rather be really smart - and then become rich 'cause it wouldn't matter then. I think if I could test out both, it'd be easier for me to choose. It'd be great to live one week as a bigger geek than I already am, and then another week as the hottest girl in school - yeah... I'd like to see how that works out.😉
 
Um...arn't we all geeks? most of us anyway? I mean I like to think of myself handsome, and in style but I;m still considered a geek because I like Buffy/Angel/Star Trek/Res Evil.

Anyway, I dont think we're nerds or geeks, I think Buffy is one of those shows that has its own catagories, not negative or positive.
Just in a whole league of its own! 🙂

I've always been smart, I sometimes wonder what life would be like looking like Brad Pitt, but if your brain doesn't have to capacity to enjoy life, it'd be a waste. So the brains for me please!
