[Joan the Vampire Slayer]

Anyone a fan of this novels? He's a somewhat obscure writer with a substantial cult fandom - I'm a big fan of his. The reason I mention this is I just saw the newest adaptation of one of his novels, The Informers, and man, if that wasn't a new cult classic I don't know what is. Brilliant film. Go check it out. Seriously. If you love irony, 80s music, and scathing satire regarding rich yuppie kids, you'll LOVE this film.

I can't say I'm a fan, as I've only read 'American Psycho' but I did think that was really good. Although some of it is absolutely awful to read!! He is a good writer though, I would like to read more, but I have A LOT of stuff I want to read and not enough time to do it in!
