Ahh, yes, I remember this. It was yet another of those promising FOX shows given the premature axe.

I found it to be well-acted (especially on the part of John Glover playing the role of Satan), as well as dark and edgy for it's time.

Last time I checked, the 13 episodes that were aired are not available on DVD. If you are able to watch on that TV website you mention, then you should give it a look. You'll be hooked after a couple of episodes.

I checked at Amazon, and it is available on dvd, For $199.99. (Seriously) It CAN'T be that good!
I remember this fondly. It was a great show, one of the many un-appreciated sci-fi shows that got the chop. It's definitely worth a watch. Great acting, characters. John Glover steals the show, as the Devil. And the story is great. A cop gets sent to hell, for killing the man who raped his wife. The devil gives him a chance to live again, which gives him a chance to go to heaven, if he can return 113 spirits that have escaped from hell.
It's been a long time since I have seen this show, I hope it has aged well. 🙂 Give it a look. Don't pay $199.99. for the DVD, it's only 13 episodes, that's crazy.
 
I don't know what that's doing on Amazon, but that series has never been officially released by the studio on disc (at least, not in the United States).

I've done some checking around since this thread and it appears that this DVD set that is floating around is either an overseas release, or a bootleg.

It being an overseas release isn't altogether an unviable notion, as there's legally-released stuff on DVD over there that we have yet to see on our shores (for example, old school TV shows like my faves "Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Bionic Woman" have been released to home video/disc mediums out there for years, but we have nada).

So, far be it for me to suggest using illegal means to watch this show. (But whatever you do off-board is totally your business. 😉)

Ah, the guy in the leisure suits running in slow motion. I used to love that show. And Lindsey Wagner...well, we won't go there with kiddies reading.
 
Definitely worth seeing, I used to absolutely love this show. My favourite Satan ever, by far, and the premise was used brilliantly every week.

Great Satan. But Viggo Moretenson's version of the Devil in "The Prophecy" is quite chilling.
