Bring back one dead character

Fred... especially as she's the only one where there's no risk at all of some "ripped out of heaven" scenario (which I wouldn't want to cause for anyone), due to that horrible fact of her soul having been totally destroyed and denied any kind of afterlife. 🙁

Buffy loves Angel too much (see, Bangels, even a Spuffy shipper can say it) to ever be harsh enough on him to ever get any results, and Faith just plain feels too much loyalty and downright devotion to him to ever really get the job done. Cordie is Angel's only real chance to get back on the road to redemption.

That's not saying that I wouldn't love to see Tara, Wes, or Fred come back, but I have to say that, of all of those who have passed on, Cordelia Chase would be the most useful and valuable resurrection candidate.

Besides which, I really want to see her reaction to Angel's naming a dragon after her, and a cat fight between a werewolf and a Higher Being with Ol' Broodie as first prize would be hilarious.

Especially with Buffy and Spike cheering them on from the sidelines.

Just kidding. Seriously, I think Cordy really has to come back. She's Angel's rock and they know and trust each other, plus Cordy knows how to reach Angel's heart and how to move him. As he told her, he's really lost without her.

And she deserves to come back. She was tricked horribly and used by a force supposed to belong to tPTB, the same Powers that didn't intervene and only agree to allow her a day...and she used it to help Angel. Too sad and truly unfair.
 
Tara. Tara. Tara. I'd bring her back in a heartbeat! (And maybe something unfortunate would happen to Kennedy...)
 
How is this different from the other thread open called "bring back one dead character"...
 
Doyle. He's my second favorite character on Angel (Wesley's #1). I just love him and his goofy fashion sense and his cute Irish accent. 9 episodes is just not enough!
 
I don't really want anyone back since it might just end up developing a character I loved into something I don't care for at all. That said, I do wish Doyle had been around longer.
 
I can't really pick one, but here are my reasons for choosing who.

Jenny: The first unnecessary death of the series. Joss pisses me off when he kills people.
Doyle: He died WAY to fast. He should have stayed on until Quinn died. That's what I think!
Tara: This death was unnecessary, there was no reason at all why she couldn't have just left Willow again to trigger Dark Willow.
Anya: I get that Xander should move on, but why Anya?
Fred: They never got a chance to resolve her death. (Her and Illyria were suppose to split in two)
Wesley: Seems like he only died because it was the last episode.
Giles: Just . . . WTF?

I really don't have mush to say other than I hate Joss when he kills people.
 
Tara. Or I at least would have liked to see her as The First in Conversations With Dead People. It would have been kind of upsetting...but I would have killed to see Willow's reaction. I can't even imagine.
 
i don't read the comics and don't really consider them canon--ESPECIALLY after learning about giles and angel. i mean...what the hell? i just can't even consider that.

so, putting that aside, i would have to say cordelia or tara. they're both extremely important characters and i think both got unfair and really horrible and upsetting deaths.

also, fred and wesley. just breaks my heart.
 
I have replied to this already I think but I have to add. I think I said Tara before and it's true. As far as Buffy characters go Tara is the one I would bring back.

As far as Angel characters, I can't choose one, but two. First I pick Lilah. Lilah was possibly my second favourite character on that show (after Fred, who we will discuss in a minute) and her death affected me rather more than I expected. So first I pick Lilah, for my own selfish reasons. Second I pick Fred. I have not reached this point in my Angel watch thus far but I do know of it's existance and find myself greatly saddened. I don't much care how awesome Illyria is. I'll enjoy her in her own right but I will miss Fred greatly.

The loss of my two favourite characters. Damn you Joss Whedon...I love you but damn.
 
Doyle

I adored his character and was so upset to see him go. (I know he could not come back for various reasons). I would have loved to see what he thought of Cordy and Angel getting almost together and what he thought of Connor and the Cordy going bad scenario.
 
I'd say Anya because her coming back would lease affect other characters development. Jenny dying when she did meant that Angelus was able to open Acathla and then Buffy sent Angel to hell, that was a much needed storyline. Tara being killed brought about Willow's dark, evil side, again a very good storyline. Doyle dying triggered Cordy's development etc.
 
Some people hate how Joss Whedon frequently kill people, although I agree with most of their deaths, because even though it is sad, that is the intention. That said, the only character who I had an objection to their death, was Cordelia. So I would bring back Cordy
