Bring it On: The Complete Oral History

I loooove Bring it On! Bookmarking this to read tomorrow. 15 years old. Can't believe it. When do we get to the part of life when time slows down a bit?

That's awesome! I love Bring It On! Good read. I like the story about Eliza and some others going down to Tijuana, Mexico. Lol. ED was pretty wild back then, but that's awesome she got the role partly cause they liked her as Faith. I love hearing the behind the scene stories like that.

I rewatched it earlier this week because it was on TV, I don't have much willpower when it comes to resisting it.😳
Anyways, interesting read 🙂

I do like this movie and it was great to see how it came about. Very organically like all behind the scenes stuff. It seems so polished on screen but the runup seems to be pretty chaotic.
I love Eliza's comments- disinterested audition, kinda hung over, her remark about cheerleaders. All fun. 🙂

Can't believe it's been fifteen years. Even more unbelievable is that Lava is married to Ronnie DeVoe lol!

Great read though 🙂 Love that movie (and I hate cheerleaders)

My friends and I watched this movie sooooo often. A lot of us were cheerleaders (not the competition kind, just cheered at games) so it was fun. And I always liked seeing Whedon actors on there; it made me chuckle.

Love that movie (and I hate cheerleaders)
Before watching the movie, I thought that it would suck because of the cheerleaders (am a bit of a tomboy and cheerleaders usually bore me), but unlike other cheerleader movies, I could actually watch this until the end (and it was a good movie 🙂)

as in over 16876543378 times ? and did you watch it so often your tape broke and you had to replace it?

That was a pretty good read. I still have not seen the film all the way through, but based on the rave reviews on here it does seem to be more than just another cheerleading film so I will give it a watch. Its also another reminder that Sadly Eliza has not gone on to have the sort of career which she deserves, she's just as talented as Dunst in my opinion.

I think its overstating it a bit to claim that there would be no Mean Girls or Pitch Perfect without Bring It On though. Are they not forgetting a certain film called Clueless or either Heathers?

Buffy Summers
Buffy Summers
More talented than Dunst I would say :)
