Bringing Anya back?

I don't see Anya being brought back to life.. but I'm not a huge Anya fan, only got to like her and then they killed her.
She was sliced up, so I don't see it fitting into the 'mystical death' category. Same with Wesley (who's my fav Angel character) as much as I want him to be brought back to life, I don't know how this could happen.. owh unless Willow happened to be in the neighbourhood and healed him! But yeah I'm dreaming, and this Wesley bit belongs in the other forum. 😛
 
I'd love Anya back, her character is so hilarious! Another character id like back is Tara...
 
I don't know if it will happen, but it's definitely a possibility, as are most things in the buffyverse really. Like Joss' plans to bring Tara back with some sort of wish granted to Buffy that ended up not happening in S7, I'm still hoping that that will happen in the comics.
So yeah, I think it's possible for it to happen, and as I love Anya, I'm also hoping she'll be brought back 🙂
 
I love Anya but I don't think she should be brought back. I think she has served her purpose in the Buffyverse. I would love her to be in a flashback or something like that. Or maybe just a guest spot in one issue.
 
On a purely selfish note they can't bring Anya back 'cos it would ruin my fanfic...even though it remains unfinished after several years. I can retcon it to take in the events of the comics so far but Anya's return would really screw it up 🙂 Then again, I might just leave it unfinished...the world isn't ready 😉
 
i thought i read somewhere that she will make an appearance though not be bought back from the dead so that could mean a memory or a ghost or a vision...

Seriously though, I don't think she should be, its not a matter of could as they can bring anyone back with the right story. I'm just thinking that the more you bring back from death the more pointless a death is and thus takes away from the emotional effect.
 
With the bad experience of Buffy's resurrection, I doubt that any of the Scoobies would undertake "ripping someone else out of heaven." She COULD come back, as could Joyce, Tara, Jenny, Jonathan, or anyone else who was killed during the seven year run of the show, as an agent of the Powers That Be, though Buffy and her crew have had virtually no contact with them before.
 
I know 'The First' kinda played on the whole 'using the image of the dead', but I would love if someone that was a loved one coming back and being absolute evil.

I know Amber Benson didn't want to reprise Tara for reasons, but wouldn't it be really cool to have a character like thta be evil.

I know we have Angelus, but to an extent, Tara/Anya/Joyce/Wes as the villain would be far worse with a greater impact on the viewers.
Angelus, lets face it, was always there, but an evil one that has shown us they are good at heart would be awesome.

I would love it if one of the former dead good guys would come back evil. That would make things interesting. I'm probably one of the only people who liked Cordy when she became evil. And let's not forget Dark Willow.

I liked Codry 'evil' but it wasn't Cordy and I still, no matter what anyone says, count Dark Willow as evil, thats grieving and ODing.

I mean someone like Tara going to Hell, spending time there and coming back so pissed off, that she wreaks vengeance(with Anya also back from Hell) on those who didn't bring her back from Hell and hating Buffy because she is jealous of her time in Heaven.

I don't want them altered in anyway, I want them to be themselves just evil.

Ohh and really powerful.

Whedon: Anya, still dead. That doesn't mean she won't show up, and it doesn't mean she will. Dead in the Buffyverse is a very singular concept.

I hope there is a chance we can see her, in any form, it would be nice.
 
it would be nice. i love her character and how she talks lol.. either way wouldn't bother me though. i'm indifferent.
