Do you think that Joss would ever bring Cordy back under any circumstances, or has he just written that character off completely?

She made a cameo in After the Fall so it's not like he forgot about her. We've had loads of resurrections so that doesn't seem to be much of a barrier. I think it's unlikely though. She did have a long run across both shows and changed a lot. I think they'll leave her story as it is.

I'm hoping they'll leave her, or maybe just have her make very rare cameos like in ATF. I think Joss initially said no to bringing Cordelia back, but he liked what Brian Lynch did with her. I liked that use of her character, I think it worked well and I don't think it took anything away from "You're Welcome" being her last episode.
I wouldn't want her to come back properly though. She's a legitimate higher power now, working for good (and Angel from a far), that's a pretty perfect conclusion for me.

But as I've said before, had SMG been available, I highly doubt we would have seen Cordelia beyond her comatose body in "Home". Whether under those circumstances she might have woken up in the comics at some point... maybe.

I liked Cordy's ending, even though her treatment prior to that left something to be desired.

With Spike, for example, I feel like his sacrifice at the end of BtVS lost its meaning when he came back on Angel. That's not to say I'm not happy he came back, quite the contrary, I think he was great on Angel, but I would like someone's death to be permanent. As long as Cordy has had a proper send-off and she's kept off for storytelling reasons, I see no reason to bring her back.
