If you were one of Buffy's friends, would you have brought her back to life (beginning of s6)? Or would you have just figured she was happy wherever she was?

I think I would have just left her...I would have thought, "well for 5 years so far she's had to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders, so wherever she is now, shes probably happy"

What about you?

I would bring her back. Because I'd be like them, I wouldn't know if she was stuck in some sort of hell deminsion. Sure her body was there, but her soul could've been stuck in hell. So yeah totaly, I'd bring her back. But if I knew she wasn't in hell and in a better place, then no I wouldn't.

They say that hindsight is 20/20. I probably would've brought her back. The way that she died left serious questions to where her soul would be. Being in the position of her friends, I almost certainly would've tried to bring her back.

I probably would have brought her back too, I mean jumping into that left some questions in my mind, they had no way of knowing she was in "heaven" and ok.

Yea, I would bring her back but only if i absolutely positively new that her soul was stuck in a hell dimension..that's why i said before in my post that i probably wouldn't bring her back but only if i new she was suffering or sumthing

I would probably bring her back. I often thought it was odd that they would think she was in hell. i thought it was terribly selfish to bring her back...after all...she saved the world how many times...she must be in Heaven right? But then I started thinking, and realized why they must have thought that. Glory Opened it to go home...to her hell dimension...maybe they thought that when Buffy jumped...there was a good chanCe she went there...because that's where Glory was using it to go to. Just a thought. So yea...I would probably bring her back...because I wouldn't be sure if she was happy...or in hell. I wouldn't want to take the chance of leaving her in hell.

Yea...but if you weren't absolutely sure...only thought it was a possiblilty...would you still want to run the chance that she is there...and your leaving her there....?

Why would they think that Buffy was in a hell dimension? Buffy did a lot of good, so wouldn't it make sense that she'd go to heaven?

If there was a way to bring one of my friends back, then yes, I definitely would!

Its not even a question for me...

I'd probably hate myself forever if I brought her back, and I found out she was in Heaven though...

The reason why we say she might was in a hell dimension for was because the portal she jumped into to was the portal that unlocked the other doors to thousands of other hell dimensions. So her soul could have been striped from her and sent into some hell demension where she could've gone threw the tortuel Angel went threw.

Definately! If I was capable of bringing anyone back then I sooo would.

I agree with all that, plus theres that likely chance of her coming back wrong. I would never chance that on a true friend, even if I wasn't sure where she crossed over. Guessing by her goodbye speech to Dawn, I would say she was ready and sure of herself when she jumped.

I wouldve brought her back, I like the rest of the scooby gang wouldve thought that she was stuck in some terriable hell dimension since like stated somewhere above thats what Glory was useing the portal for, and I wouldnt want Buffy to be trapped there. I didnt know 100% if she was in heaven or hell so I would have to take a chance and do what I think is right.

See if it was just a normal death or soemthing like that yeah sure I'd think she was in some heaven. But it was a supernatural death. It involveld a door to so many hells, and you can't be sure if she is in a heaven or a hell. There was no knowing that. There were so many posabilities to where she ended up when she jumped the portal.

Very good point...eplains why she could possibly be in hell....and why most pwoplw would take the chance to bring her back...
I'm a bit torn on this one.

I'd want to bring her back for more selfish reasons, like because I missed her, etc. The rational part of my mind would assume she was in some sort of heaven, although The Fallen does have a good point with the portal being a door to hells. Because Buffy was a Slayer, because she protected people, because she sacrificed herself not once, but twice to save the world, that would lead me to believe she was in good with whatever deity presides over that kind of stuff.

But I'd probably bring her back, just because I missed her and wanted her back. Just so she wouldn't be dead.

Also, the Wiccan part of me would be screaming at the top of her lungs, "NO! BAD IDEA! BADBADBADBAD!" So, that would obviously have some say in my decision.

I propably let her in peace, I think bring back a people is against the rules... you never know if you do the rigth or wrong thing anyway...

Given the possibilities of the spell going wrong, I would rather let my friend rest than risk bringing her back wrong and having to kill something that seemed like her but wasn't. Besides, bringing her back seemed to cheapen what she did. If Dawn was worth dying for, and it was such a big deal, how is she back?

on the other hand, with Faith in jail, the world would belong to the vampires and demons until Faith dies, escaped, or got out in twenty or so years. Tough call.

I also probably wouldn't have the power.

I would have probably brought her back. I think in the back of my mind i would have known she was in heaven but I would think she was in a hell dimension just so I would be able to save her this time. I guess I would feel so bad about being useless before that if I was able to some way save her this time it would make me feel better about myself. So in other words it would be for a selfish reason.

Brittany: That's terrible, but I think many people would be selfish if they were to make this decision. If you could bring back a friend from the dead...I think many people would even if they thought they were in a good place. When your upset people often don't think correctly, they just want that person back int ehri life.

Brittany and Alyssa: both of u have good points...

but anyway..

I would just feel horrible if I brought her back and then found out that really she was in heaven, so i would have just made things a whole lot worse for Buffy. Which is why I would take the chance and leave her there, wherever she was. And plus, if I were to bring her back, then that would have been a hell dimension for her here...like when she was talking to Spike and she said "this is hell." (I'm not really sure if anybody is gonna understand what I just said there lol)
So I would just leave her there unless I had proof of her being tortured.

I understand what you said...and I can see your point...but I still disagree....I could never take the chance of leaving her in a hell dimension...even if was only like a 2% chance that she was in hell. Because even if she called living "hell"...it's still gotta be better than actual hell...and she eventually she came to the point where she didn't want too die again...so I would take that chance....I just couldn't live with myself if I left someone I really cared about in hell...and yea...it would be horrible if I took them out of heaven...but I would still take that chance...
