Bringing The Season To A Close

Am I correct in believing that the final arc of this season will be a multi-issue crossover between all of the then existing titles, bringing all of the characters into one final action? If so, unless Angel succeeds with his mission for the season, and it backfires terribly, I can't see what the tie in is going to be.

They keep claiming that the crossover isn't going to be that comprehensive, but honestly, I don't see many other options. Perhaps they won't all come together for the action, but in the aftermath.

From what I've seen there wont be a full crossover in S9 between main titles. Allie and Jeaty both said so. We have been told to wait for S10 if it still happens.

I never heard about it. I remember Allie saying that they don't plan major crossovers, but, of course, he can always take his words back.

Well, according to this:

and the obvious interaction with Willow with Angel and Faith, plus Illyria (who aren't, I realize, Season 9 regular before this point, was originally an Angel" regular) in "Buffy" and Whistler (same as Illyria, except he was a "Buffy" character showing up in "Angl & Faith) there sore have been a bunch of MINOR crossovers so far. How many "minors" does it take to constitute a "major," or the closest thing to it?

Infinite and it still won't be a 'major' until the two main characters actually interact with each other. For me a 'crossover' means Buffy and Angel meet face-to-face and talk, or team up to beat the Big Bad. As far as I can see when Allie means 'crossover' he means the same.

Yeah, unless the ending involves Faith and Angel going to help Buffy defeat (who is the Big Bad? Seriously, make it clear and stop meandering) or Buffy takes part in the finale of Angel & Faith (which seems to involve Eyghon in some way), it won't really be a crossover, especially since neither series has other very prominent main characters. I mean, Willow going to Angel & Faith isn't even that major of a crossover, since she hasn't really had a large role in Buffy.
