And everything and anything ealse you want to shere.

i think b-days are so nice! to celebrate other peoples BIG day!

Good B-day memories, for my best friends b-day 1 year and a 1/2 ago, i bought her the Kurt Cobains diary, she's like a major fan, and she was just so happy! (LOL i bought the book like 1/2 year in advance though, the moment i saw it in the store I knew she had to get that from me...)

a good b-day memorie for me; when i truned 19 in 2002, my then best friend gave me a very smal, thin gift, i opened it, and there was a news paper inside, AND inside the news paper there was a Book, the book had my name printed on the cover and a book titel. (this was a REAL binding of a smal book i had put together myself in the school library...) she had accually gotten someone to print up some of my poems into a real book... Gosh How i cried, i was so happy, i couldn't believe that she had accually done that for me...

Thats Really Really noce of your friend.
Polexia thats so nice of your friend. Its always nice when you get something that bit more personal.

My birthday this year was ace. A few months before my mom asked if I wanted a party (cause it was to be my 18th) and I said nah cause I don't really like a lot of attention. So anyway she asked closer to the time and someone pointed out if I do I'll have lots of presents, which did tempt me to do it so I told my mom. She later said all the places were booked so I was like "ah okay then, no worries"

So anyway my birthday was on the Monday, which is the day that I dont start college until 2. So I got a lie-in which is always nice. Got a lift up to college with my friend and when I got there I met some of my friends and it was just nice getting presents and such. In English (my one of two lessons that day) we were researching. Some people had gone to the library but I stayed in the classroom with others. Someone said "Im bored, I think we should all sing" then a bit later, after no singing someone said to him "I thought you were singing?" and he said "Yeah but I can't think what." So I said "Could sing me happy birthday" and they were like "Its your birthday?" so I nodded and they sang me happy birthday 😀

Anyway on the bus home I had such fun cause during the day I was given a box of celebrations and some mini-sparklers, so we ate and lit the sparklers, it was fun.

That Friday we got paid at work and we broke up from college, and that night we went out with people from work to celebrate my birthday. Took £30 with me, came back with £35 cause everyone paid for everything. I got just a little bit drunk but I had loads of fun, it was so nice. Plus a lot of people were there. Oh and during the night I saw someone from college and I told him we were celebrating my birthday and he said "Oh you have a party tomorrow don't you" and I was like "Sshh, its meant to be a surprise party." I had my suspicions prior to it so I wasn't too fussed. Told one girl who was there he had told me (cause she knew him) and she got angry but I told her it was fine. Didn't tell anyone else that I knew.

The next day I was a bit hungover but trundled on. After work cause I knew about my party I hid some CDs in my dad's car (cause I knew who would be DJing so I could take over) and dressed down. The lie my parents came up with is I was going to my friend's gig, so when my mom said "Is that what your wearing" I said "Yeah, its only a gig" but changed after they left.

The party itself was really good, I had lots of fun. There were people there I didn't think would come, and people I didn't know (family friends and the like). I did all the silly dances (Cha Cha Slide, Oops Upside Your Head) and had such fun just being loved. I later found out that everyone from work was let out early to come to my party, I felt so honoured. So yeah this year's kicked ass.

Sounds Like a bunch of fun. Glad you had a blast...
Oh, great birthdays 😀 Heh.

I've never really cared that much for birthdays. It's not important to me. I only buy presents for my parents, not for my friends or anything (well I did get two S.E. Hinton books for my friend Molli last year, only cause she's such an obsessed fan lol). But yeah, my birthdays, have never been that special. It's in July so when I was a kid all my friends were always away somewhere, so I was just like alone at home with my parents, lol. Last year I hung out with some friends but didn't do anything special really.. even though it was my 18th (oh I think I bought beer though, for the first time, lol).

I think this year my birthday is going to be great though, because there are lots of really amazing things happening like almost on my birthday lol..

I'm July too. I know how that feels. But its fun too. For thouse that are not all gone you get to have a blast..
I have a few, my 17th, when my parents went on holiday and I had a huge house party, lots of drunken escapades. My 18th with my flatmates, my first year away from home in Edinburgh, can't remember anything from that so it must be good!

My 21st I went to London, I can't remember much of that either later on but earlier it was great, a whole weekend of non stop partying. And my most recent my 23rd spent in New York, celebrated an hour after midnight then after some drinking went home to sleep and then up again the next day for a great night with Buffy Summers. Funnily enough, can't remember too much from that either! Think we have a pattern here.

Faiths a drunkard! Sounds like you had fun though, a pretty wide spread of birthday locations.

No, I just like to have a good time 😀

What can I say I love the city, so i've done a little tour. New York was definatly the best, then Edinburgh then London.

Drunkard, drunkard, nanananah drunkard! (Ill shut up now)
no.1: your b-days sounds fun faith and Xander!

Epo: (LOl i know i also reped you, but i wanted to go deeper into the issue 😉) my B-day is the 12th of july.. so people where always on vacation when i had my b-day.. and my lil bro(LOL he's not that little though :hihi: he turns 20 this summer) has is b-day only 14 days after mine, the 26th, so we always shared partys, i think that's why i don't really make a big deal out of my own b-day.... i always had to share, and sometimes people would forget that i also had my b-day and would only like celebrate my bro(fun you can imagine)

:ufo:

Ah that's just evil, forgetting about you, aw, lol. But yea I know what you mean, people tend to believe summer birthdays are fun cause you don't have school or anything but they forget about the fact that people also tend to travel.. mhm..

I'm a July B-day too. A lot of my friends tend to be gone. Last year only 3 of my friends came. But it was still really fun that was my 15th B-day. We went Bowling and just hung all day. It was fun. But we always tend to have a miishab when people are over. My Nana was makeing dinner and the oven broke. So we all got really hyper just eatting suger all day.

My fav b-day though was prb. the year before. My 14th b-day. I was on a trip with some of my frineds in New Yrok on my B-day. It was my frist b-day not being at home so I was al little sad. But I worke up and Melissa. Had brought gifts from home Frineds and Family. It was really cool. Then we went to eat and everyone acted like thay forgot. Well all but Melissa. And then Alan the ledder person started to talk(he talks a lot) and said I think we should sing a song. And then he satrted singing Happy Brithday. And everyone joined in. The rest of the day was great to and that night we went and got ice cream and palyed games all night long. We were so trid the nezt day.

Hmm yea I sort of have a summer birthday... Its mid June, but because I'm always sailing in the summer, I'm usually gone for it... Which is exactly what will happen for this year... The big 2-1... 😛

But the one thing I remember about my birthday... I read something that was the "You Know You're An 80s Kid When..." And it was something like, "You've had your birthday/Been to a birthday party at McDonalds... That was so me... I think my 5th 😉

I was never at a McDonald's party, my mum would never let me have one there with it being junk. And none of my friends had any parties there, their mums were the same.

Yeah I've never been to McDonald's, lol.. (Okay I bought icecream there once but I don't know if that really counts, heh.) I used to be an anti-McDonald's-girl, and I still don't go there. I always had those nice birthday parties in our yard.. there were always more grown ups there than kids though, cause of the summer thing.. I don't remember my parties that well, they can't have been that much fun I guess.

Yea I've had some pretty stupid parties that turned pretty fun... LOL MY mom threw me a surprise 16th b-day party... And invited all my gradeschool friends... And like, we were pretty bored... We ate and drank everything and watched movies... So we decided to go uptown and play soccer... After that we thought jumping off the pier would be fun... SO we did... And it was a pretty hot day/evening... So thought some of my female friends, who decided to walk topless back to my house... AH gotta love Ontario... Topless girls all around 😉

I dont really like my bday apart from my friends im lucky even to get a happy birthday and my dad dont know me that well so usually he gives me money which is nice but kinda dull lol

I love birthdays! I think everyone should be appreciated on their birthday, no matter how old/young they are.

Every year is a great birthday for me. I always enjoy it, and because people know that I like my birthday so much, it is always celebrated. I really like cake, and birthday cake is ten times better!

One really good birthday would have probably been three years ago. I was nineteen, and my then-boyfriend (now hubby) gave me the best birthday present ever...an engagement ring. So, that probably tops the best birthday ever.
