One of my non-buffy-watching friends told me that she'd read/seen something on tv or in a mag that said that britney spears would be making appearances in buffy as a vampire for 6 episodes ???

Anyone know anything about this ???

I havent seen crossraods, so i dont know if she can act, but all i can say is that she better be good! Buffy sets the highest standards!

She'll definetly pull some male viwers in to watch for sure! Or make sure some guys who sometimnes watch, do! Lol, for sure!

I don't like Britney, so hopefully she doesn't appear in an episode of Buffy. No offence to Britney fans here.
But that wouldn't stop me watching Buffy even if she's in it. 🙂 If Britney gets a role, good luck to her. 🙂

Britney on Buffy

My friend told me that Britney was going to be on Buffy and I was like "No way! That would be terrible" (I'm not a Britney fan...). But today on "Space News" they confirmed it "Britney has signed on for 6 episodes" (I think I got the number right - I was pretty stunned).

What do you guys think about this? She'll maybe be the "big bad" of next season or something? I have no idea but I just don't see why they'd put Britney on BtVS! I almost felt 'insulted' (for lack of better word) when I found out. I guess I'm just not a Britney fan. Hope I don't offend any Britney fans out there. Perhaps I'll get used to the idea.

OH NO!! Sorry guys I just posted this in the "spoiler" section... I wasn't sure if it would be considered a spoiler b/c it has to do with next season. But yeah, I just heard it on "Space News". 6 Seasons I think. ...

i think the rumour comes from the Daily Star so needs to be taken scepticly

Yeah, i think she must have heard it there, coz she said she saw it on the news and i was like "what kinda news would show that?!"

I'm sorry guys, but that was just a rumor. I've read that Fox already denied it.

Yes, this rumor is false. I am sure most of you know that Britney was meant t oplay the April-Bot, but didn't. She will not be playing some character for 6 episodes. Waht upsets me the most about this is that the news and media are beleiving this and spreading it like crazy. I jsut heard it announced on some Sci-fi TV program and it is false info! They should get their stories straight first.

I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE APRIL-BOT THING!!! blushes* - how come that fell thorugh?!

Journalists really should get their story straight, but anything for a story, eh?

I think the April-Bot fell through because she had to go do something else and they just didn't have time to wait so they hired the actress who actually played her. Yes S7 is very far off, I think they start filming in July or something for it I really hope Season 7 does well, I am going to miss the show.

Britney is not going to be on. She meant to play the April-Bot in Season 5, but she got too busy and couldn't. Sources are jsut getting their news wrong and it upsets me false news is being posted on television. Season 7 doesn't even start filming until July, I doubt they would have her signed on anyway, even if she was going to be in it.

*screams* I don't want Britney in it! She will make the programme look stupid and she is bound to be a really bad actress. *sighs* I really don't want her in it...

That's what I thought too but I've heard from more than one media source. Is this really false info? B/c I totally wouldn't want Britney on BtVS...it just seems...well, wrong 🙂
