Britney in buffy!?!?!?

Umm, please tell me this isn't so. Why would they put britany on Buffy? So, she can sit there all day bad mouthing SMG just because she wants to be as skinny as her? Come on now, Brit on Buff is rediculous. I'll intentionally not watch for those 6 episodes. I despise britney. ::thumb::

Where did you hear for sure that it definetly wont happen? From an official and reliable source?
Im glad that she isnt though, of its true, for the reasons ive stated before. It would be quite funny to see her staked though . . . lol . . .

by god i hope not! i have nothing against Britney,but not on buffy,i mean she'd wreck it realy,just to let her know that the singing episode "once more with feeling" has already been FILMED,sorry brit.

Lol, funny. I totally agree - i like brit's album a lot, but she would totally not fit inm on buffy. It would ruin the whole realism thing buffy's got going on, if you see what i mean (do you?! lol). I woudnt be able to belive her as a character, and therfore, none of the others. They would all become just actors playing parts to me, ruining any sense of realism, which is a part of what i ::heart:: about buffy!

i just read an article, and the gist(?) of it is "the producers were going to put britney spears on the show, until smg found out and said 'uh, no.' end of discussion."
so hopefully that is true.
 
Maybe she will suprise us and be a great character that we love to hate!!! I feel another Glory coming on. In that Joss (or Marti, I can't remember) interview, they said that this big bad, was going to be one that we could definatly hate!!!

I read an article exactly like that! It was in a british tabloid newspaper 'The Sun' and in the 'Bizarre' showbiz pages in a wee box. It said that they were thinking about it/gonna put her on but SMG found out and was like, "eh, no." - thats exactly what i heard! I think (i hope!) that it is true!

I heard it on an interview on TV. I don't remember if it was Access Hollywood or Extra but it was one of those. Don't worry...Brittney will not be appearing on Buffy, and if some way she does make her way onto the show...Buffy will get rid of her so fast, she won't even know what happend to her!😀

As i said before, i read an article saying that SMG put her foot down and stopped any chance of britney appearing! SMG is a sweetie, but she obviously ::heart::s the show too much to let this happen and can speak her mind!

I dont think she'd ruin it forever or anthing, but im glad shes not coming on. I think we can safely saying now that its not gonna happen.

Lol, well, as said earlier (but ill repeat just for you, hun 😉), it looked like the producers etc were kinda interested in her appearing as a vampire queen for up to 6 episodes next season, but the story goes now that when SMG heard, she was like "Eh - i dont think so." So go Sarah!

I dunno. I've never been able to trust tabloids. But it doesn't really matter to me how it happened, as long as Britney stays far away from the Buffy set. 😀
 
Gellar tells the U.K. Sun that she personally put the old kibosh on talks between Spears and the producers of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" about Spears appearing on the show.

Cole, as far as ive seen, thats all we have. I actually read it, as i said before, in the bizarre showbiz column in the uk paper in a tiny wee box. Basically, she was just like "Eh . . . NO!" Quite firm and bitchy for our sweet down-to-earth hun, Sarah, dont you think?! Lol.

Well, I sure hope you are right! I don't really have anything against britney, but her being on buffy just doesn't seem right... I'm not juging her or anything, I have no idea how she acts, but I Don't think it would be a good idea...
