So, what would everyone's advice to the soon-to-be-single Ms. Spears? Mine is....don't marry the help.
 
Mine would be *thinks a minute* ok that would be completely bad to say so i'll make it sound less bad

Stop being so trashy and attracting the wrong type of guy before you become infested with an STD... (there was more but really it just would be too bad to finish)

I honestly think she wouldn't do to bad if she didn't make herself look like a trashy tramp...thats harsh yes but its true... now and days it seems like she and all the other female celebs are wearing less and less and i'm sorry i find it trashy (what seriously my hatred for BS runs deeper then the fact she dated JT...lol)
 
I used to love Britney. She used to be hot. Her videos are very sexy. Including "Toxic", "I'm a Slave 4 U", and "Do Something." Man she can be sexy when she wants to be.

But I hope she finds someone good for her. Preferrably not a celebrity. And preferrably not a white rapper.

She does need someone who's good for her...the problem is, I don't think she knows how to find/pick that person.
I can't say i'm a fan of her music but I can't help but feel for the girll. Two small kids, deadbead husband (soon to be ex-husband). Its bad enough when that happens to other people but when your emotions are all over the place and the cameras are all in your face it doesn't make it easier.

Yes it was her choice to do what she does thus meaning cameras are a part of her life, but give the girl some room.

Money doesn't solve everything, see now i'm assuming your read all of my post and not just the part that you quoted. Its hard enough to go through something like this when you don't have a camera in your face all the time.

So with the media, the emotional toll of her divorce and the fact that she has just had a baby (and may even develop post natal depression, i'm not an expert on that so can't say) makes me feel for her.

Here is hoping she had enough sense to have a pre-nup drawn up.

A fact that many a great star will agree with. Varied examples such as Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love, Scott Weiland, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley and many of their peers will prove that you can have all the money, fame and success in the world and it still won't help if you aren't happy inside.

Okay, they all stem from a different musical background to what Britney is used to, with the obvious other related issues adding to their problems, but the truth is that unless she is actually okay with what is happening in her life right now then the money won't mean a thing.

Having been through both a divorce AND pregnancy/baby, I agree, it will be a tough road ahead of her. Sure the money will make life easier (thank goodness she got a pre-nup) but the public nature of her life will make it that much harder for her.

I feel sorry for the kids.
 
Now hopefully maybe she can get her career back. It was nice to see she got herself back in shape and no longer looks like she belongs with him.

I will proudly admit that I own all of her CD's and do actually like her music.
 
I don't know what's funnier, CDB pretendi.. Uh I mean defending that he's not gay or Primal Slayer getting all pissed because people weren't discussing the topic manner in her thread.

Anybody see what the US election results were? How 'bout that Saddam, I missed the verdict, what was it?

Anyway, back to the serious issues. Britney's getting divorced, oh my god!!Seems like now that she has her two kids the man is no longer needed. Not that I'm suggesting she married the moron for that purpose alone, I'm sure they were both dweeply in wuv. A c**t and its mop, eh?
 
I'm glad for Britney, I think she's doing the right thing by divorcing Kevin the media portray him as a gold digger who just wanted fame and it looks that way to me. I wish all the best for Brit and her boys.

B. Who said I got pissed off? Im all fine for fun, but I cannot/will not have a thread go off topic majorly, when 9 posts out of 15 on the first page are off topic, it is my job to do something about it. 🙂

Good thing that Britney has an iron clad prenup so she doesnt have much to worry about in the money department besides what they agreed on he would get which is rumored to be around $300,000 for every year they were married.

Honestly I gotta agree with faith, even though i do dispise her i cant help but feel sorry for her, to go through something like that is always horrible... and part of her had to have loved him somewhat to have delt with him this long lol, mainly i just feel sorry for those kids, yeah they are young but when they're older it'll get harder... 🙁
