Britney Spears?!?!

I recently read that Britney Spears will be appearing in 6 episodes of Buffy next season.....NO GOD NO!!!

Tell me this isnt true.....please?
 
The rumor's been heard before. I REALLY hope not, but SMG is apparently good friends with her. But then, really, producers, Joss, THINK ABOUT YOUR DEMOGRAPHIC HERE! we're NOT teeny boppers! we're not 7 years old! Generally, I think we range from 15/16 to 23ish. mostly girls. We DON'T WANT TO SEE BRITNEY SPEARS! period.
 
oh but come on! wed get to kill her off!
im all for the end of the pop 'princess' itd be funny
but definately not a whole 6 eps
cause that suggests like an actual plot and her having significance and being araound alot

I read an article Joss confirmed that Britney will not be on BtVs. Whew. No offense to Britney, but I just don't think that she would fit the show very well.

Britney won't be on the show. She was never being considered for a part in Season 7. 🙂
 
thank god for that... I really just hate her. I don't know why, maybe her complete and utter lack of talent... although, it might have been fun to see her get killed off...

Correct you are. I just read an interview with SMG a few days ago and they asked her. She said it was completely NOT true 🙂. I cannot remember the link right now but I'll look for it and post it if/when I find it 🙂

This was also rumoured for season 5 but it never happened. It's probably just cooked up by the tabloids because they happen to be friends although I read somewhere that the part of April- Warrens sexbot in S5 was written for her but that work pressures prevented her from appearing in the end and the part had to be re-cast. I don't know how true that is.

Ahem *coughs discreetly*, I'm 33 *hides* and on my other Buffy board it's been established that the age range is more like 14 - 65, certainly on that board nearly half the posters are over 30.
So no, DEFINITELY not teenyboppers!

PS. I hate Britney too hehehe 😀
 
I reckon Buffy and Britney throwing each other around in tight clothes would be sweet but it's never gonna happen.
 
I read something about her being it it too, i was seriously gonna make a huge complaint, i cannot stand britney, glad she aint.
 
they cant bring Britney Spears in the shjow now, becuase Dawn says in Lessons (season7 no spoilers) that shes into Britney Spears early work, to bring her in as a vamp would be stupid, do you get what i mean?
