[MENTION=7000]The Chosen[/MENTION] Slayer, I think your definition of someone who can sing and someone who can't and mine are wayyyyyy different. Christina Aguilera has one of the best voices in the industry. Her range is amazing, and if she wasn't such an amazing singer, she would never have been picked to judge the contestants on "The Voice".
I used to be a big fan of Britney's. I tried to love her, I was a huge fan of MMC and when all the stars from that show started getting signed to other projects, I was one of their first supporters. You don't need to try to throw examples of Britney's work out there for me to "review"; I've seen it all 'cause I watched it from the beginning.
Britney's voice is too babyish and nasal. I don't know what the crap happened from the time she was on MMC to now, but her voice sucks now. She has no range, and unless she's panting or singing a melody that only consists of about 4 notes, she can't sing the song; it has to be digitally altered. I admitted in a previous post that some of her songs are catchy; I'll even admit she's a great performer, as far as her dancing and stuff, but the fact that she lip syncs 99.9% of the time pretty much proves she's no singer. Just sayin'.
