Broken Disc...

Hi, I bet this has been posted numerous times before, but the sixth disc of my Angel season 3 boxset has somehow cracked on one side, and is now unplayable.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere or anyone you can buy the seperate discs/replacement discs from? I only started watching Angel a few months ago and can't really proceed until I find I way of replacing this.

If not I'll guess I'll just have the buy the boxset again. 🙁

Hmmm, would seem quite tough just to get one disc, seeing as most people want/sell the season as a whole. Is the disc not repairable at all? How bad is it cracked?
 
Well, it's pretty bad. It's actually more of a split going from the edge to the center. I don't think there's any way of repairing it.

I don't really mind buying it again, just that the other 5 discs are fine.
 
you can try eBay, believe it or not there ARE sometimes single disks for sale. Weird, but true. It doesn't happen often, but I have seen them before.

If you can't find the single disk, at least the box sets are CHEAP on eBay, too.....
 
You could always download the 3 or 4 episodes off of something like itunes and then burn them onto a disc...probably run you eight bucks for 4 episodes...

Angel isn't on iTunes, unfortunately.
Oof, that's no good! :sad26:

If you don't want to spend money on the new disc, you could always just find the last few episodes streaming online. If you're not sure where to find them, I could direct you to a few places.

whoops! Sorry for the bad info! I've been DL'ing Buffy episodes, I thought they would have Angel as well. Hmmm...I see some suggestions for Itunes coming in the future!
If you had not long bought the disc and still have your receipt I would suggest taking it back and getting a replacement box set.

Haven't all the suggestions so far been legal? Eve streaming can be legal if you go to the right pages...
 
Well, Arron, the answer is simple, don't you see.. You go to your nearest retail outlet and steal the Angel Season 3 DVD.

I'm only joking, I'd say that's heavy illegal.
 
Hey, thanks for all the replies. I've decided that I'm just going to re-buy it. The low prices that these things sell for, I might aswell just buy another copy.
