What are you favorite bromances? Who do you think has the best chemistry as far as friendship goes, or even enemies?

I will start with the obvious: Spangel. I always loved hearing them banter back and forth and to hear them make fun of each other lol. There's "Smile Time"... "You're a wee little puppet man" xD Also, "Into the dark" when Spike is making fun of Angel. Priceless.

- Spike and Xander- In season 4 when Spike was staying with Xander for a while, it was some of the funniest parts of the season. "Like I'd bite you any way?" "Oh you would. I'm moist, and delicious." "Yeah..alright..you're a nummy treat" LOL

- Xander and Andrew- Most of it was in season 7 but something that sticks out of my mind is in "Two to go" :"She's a truck driving, magic mama! And we've got maybe seconds before Darth Rosenberg grinds everybody into Jawa burgers. And not one of you bunch has the midi-chlorians to stop her." "You've never had any tiny bit of sex have you?"

The Trio- "Stop touching my magic bone!"

Giles and Spike- "Or do you'll do what? Lick me to death?"

Xander and Oz. They never got the screen time they deserved, but the few scenes they had together were comedy gold. 🙂

Yeah, that was hilarious! But out of the options you said, you wanna know why I didn't like the bromance between Xander and Andrew? It was because back in the high school days, Xander was exactly like Andrew, and in season 6 and 7, Xander treated Andrew just liked he used to be treated, like an annoying geek. Like dude, don't forget who you are too. 😛

That's a good point about Xander and Andrew! It always bugged me too! Although, to be fair, Xander didn't kill his best friends like Andrew did ;)
1) Spike and angry Dawn.
Dawn: Buffy. Do you really love her?(Break, no answer...) Then how could you do that to her?
Spike: Oh, right. 'Cause big sis was treating me so well up until that point. Must still be a bit of the evil left in me after all.
Dawn: I don't know what happened between you two but what you did last night!

2)Jonathan: Right. I just thought, you know, as long as you're protecting us, the least I could do is-
Buffy: I'm not protecting you, Jonathan. None of us are. We're doing this for Willow. The only reason it happens to be you're lucky day is because if Willow kills you, she crosses a line. I lose a friend. And I hate losing.

3) Anja and Andrew. Mhm lets say the hole Scoobie Gang vs. Andrew. Sometimes I felt with him.
Anya interfere Andrew in the toilet, where he picks up a video about its history
Anya: Cursed Andrew again! You're in for 'half an hour. What are you doing here?
Andrew: I run and I also teach.
Anya: Why you can not masturbate like the rest of us?

4) Spike and Angel-puppet.

Lol, awwww, Spike and puppet Angel! They were sweet together! :)
What does "bromance" mean? I've seen the term and can probably guess from this thread that it means a non-romantic relationship, but what exactly does it mean?
 
Clem and Spike! 😀 Best. Friends. EVER! 😀 I like how they balanced each other out, Clem was so nice and sweet and calm, and Spike was really not that way at all. 🙂 Well, he could be, but it wasn't like that was his number one personality traits. 🙂 I can imagine Clem gave some pretty good advice to Spike when he was sad.

Sigh, this always makes me sad, I wish we could've seen more Clem and Spike on the show! I would've love to known how they became friends for example and where they met. 🙂

Btw, bromance, does that mean we are only allowed to say guys? I want to say girls too! 🙂

Wesley and Angel has to be my favorite ever bromance of the verse - it sort of peaks when Wesley pulls Angel out of the ocean, but there is great connection there from the AtS start and into the AtF. Wesley is also the character I miss the most from the entire Angel series. 🙁 (damn you Joss! )
 
Spangel is definitely my favorite haha if you could even call it a bromance, and I loved Xander and Oz's friendship. Poor Xander didn't really have any guy friends left at the end of season 5. I love when he says, "Too many girls. I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but...he'd get it." I don't remember why he says it exactly...I think they were talking about April, the robot.

It was a bromance in season 5 of AtS. They liked each other, even though they wouldn't admit it. Just look at "The Girl in Question" 🙂
 
I don't know if they're my favorite but honorable mentions should go to Doyle/Angel. Doyle brought a vulnerable, human side to Angel that I had never seen before.
 
Xander/Spike of course. Loved when they were playing pool and sharing romance problems. 😀

I've recently been watching S3 and loving the Xander/Oz bromance. So funny and cute.
 
I like the initiatives buddies and Riley scenes. They are all really good friends. I know for me it was refreshing to see other characters being cool with each other. You know other than the main characters. After all every episode when you meet a character..they are most likely bad. lol I really like the scene when they are all saying Buffy is peculiar. Very cute, Riley realizes he really likes her because of his bro's. 😀

Giles & Ethan. well, it had the potential to be a love/hate relationship if they had utilized Ethan more. I just re-watched A New Man and realized how much I loved Ethan!

Spike and Andrew. These two are hilarious together. I'll bet Spike has a soft spot for Andrew.

Wesley and Gunn. I loved how they bonded after Angel fired them.

I never got into the Spangel bromance.

Angel & Wesley and Wesley & Gunn, especially before everything went to hell in AtS season 3.

Angel & Spike is always good.
