Bryan Cranston cast as Lex Luthor

What do you guys think? Apparently Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston has been cast as Lex Luthor for the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, with the contract purported to be a six picture deal. Whether or not Luthor will appear Batman/Superman, just Man of Steel, or both seems to be a little unclear.

I really like it! I haven't seen Breaking Bad so I still really think of Cranston as as Hal from Malcolm in the Middle, but I'm probably the only person on the planet who still thinks that 😛. However, I've seen him in other roles and he's always done a great job. He looks like Luthor so I'm excited for it.

Well, I think he's a great actor and I can certainly see him as Lex Luthor. But a six picture deal ??? Isn't that too much?

Yes!!!!! This is terrific! I'm literally so excited if this gets finalised. I quite liked Man Of Steel and Zac Snyder I love his style.

I do highly recommend Breaking Bad. It's a show where I actually really like all of the characters (I mean I wouldn't want to meet them, but they are fascinating). I've only finished the first 4 season, and I really can't stop raving about it.

Cranston's performance is terrific and that's why like him being Lex Luthor sounds so perfect.

this is great news. after kevin spacey mailed it in in superman returns, lexie ha really needed a shot in the arm, and i think bryan is just the guy to do it. i can easily see him playing someone who is brilliant and unhinged. i hope he's a more mad scientist heavy lex luthor, than the foppish business scientist that luthor has become.

Thats the only pick I've liked in that franchise...he's a great actor ranging from drama to comedy. Glad he's getting money later in his career

I think I'm going to cry...that is seriously awesome. Breaking Bad is so amazing and although some people find it to be overrated...it seriously is NOT! It deserves all of the praise it has received and Bryan Cranston deserved all of those Emmys. Haha sorry this is so awesome, he is such a fantastic actor.
