So there has been many inspirational, romantic, funny quotes on Buffy,
But i would like to know whats your favourite? what makes you smile or cry or nod in agreement?

mine have to be:
season 3 - Buffy to jonathon - You know what? I was wrong. You are an idiot. My life happens to, on occasion, suck beyond the telling of it. Sometimes more than I can handle. And it's not just mine. I used this in my exams last year- "If nothing we do matters then all that matters is what we do."

And also " I guess I was kinda new to being around humans before. And now I've seen a lot more, gotten to know people, seen what they're capable of and I guess I just realize how amazingly... screwed up they all are.

Great topic! (and I like that you call yourself a "cringe" jod...I don't know what that is exactly but I like the word)

I love a lot of early cordy quotes (talking about hitting that girl with her car) "one of the scariest things that ever happened to me and she's going on and on about her broken leg" (not the exact quote) - and when trying to get out of a ticket "the sign said one way - I was only going one way!"

Connor's "you're sad?" to Sunny when she's trying to explain heroin to him always gets me

And later Cordy "no woman strong enough to call herself a vicious bitch would ever allow herself to be made to feel that way" (again not exact - but talking to lilah about billy)

Buffy's "no, it's really not." to chanterelle's (everything's going to be ok, right?) in "lie to me"
Also Buffy's "want to see my impression of ghandi?" in Anne (I freaking LOVE that!)

Willow's "aren't you naturally buff, buff?" then her giggle at herself and repeating "buff buff"

Oz's "no one deserves mime"

I'm sure I'll think of lots more. 🙂

I've got two more, slightly longer, but in a similar vein, both said by Angel.

I suppose the idea the idea that it is our actions, rather than our thoughts and feelings, show who and what we really are, appeals to me.

Haha I also love Xander's "What would Buffy do?" quote. I used to think that whenever I'd go outside at night to get something from my car. Oh and Angel's Epiphany speech is one of my favorite quotes ever...

I want to help because people shouldn't suffer as they do. Because, if there isn't any bigger meaning, then the smallest act of kindness is the greatest thing in the world.

I was talking about Nietzsche's nihilism and how it can be used as an impetus for existentialism. Was like the only thing I could actually remember to be honest, was glad I'd just watched it!

I love a lot of quotes from Earshot. Oz in the library (If Buffy thinks what I think, etc.) [can't rememeber it in English right now], Xander in the library (girls naked, women naked, Buffy naked... Oh God!), Buffy when she discovers her mom's secret (You had sex with Giles..? You had sex with Giles?! On a police car?? TWICE????) XD

And of course Buffy's speech to Jonathan at the end of the episode.

==> That's kind of my motto during with school, specially during exams, because they always put us through so much stress and pression that we are all tired and desperate (and in my case, scared to really fail). So that always good to listen to that little speech.
