BtVS Soundtracks: Favourite Songs?

I know that this is an old thread, but is it true that "Teenage FBI", "Temptation Waits", "I Quit" and "Over My Head" are not in any Buffy episode? If so, why are they included on the CD? I love I Quit in particular, so that's disappointing.

I'll look into it as I can't recall them being on. "I quit" though has a music video that's Buffy themed so perhaps that's their only connection to the show.
 
I own the Angel soundtrack "Live Fast and Die Young" and I like quite a few of the instrumentals on it.

I have the Season 1 soundtrack and Radio Sunnydale as well - but they're collectors items, so they're still wrapped in plastic.
 
Although I like a few of the regular songs, the only album I own is BtVS: The Score. Just listening to certain songs makes me feel like I'm watching that moment on the show.
 
there are way too many.

i think the first buffy soundtrack was brilliant. I especially love "transylvanian concubine" and "teenage fbi" (despite it never being in the show).

the dashboard prohets "wearing me down" is still an amazing song (its the one cordelia loved towards the end of the two hour pilot episode).

I was very happy to see aimee mann get a little time in on the show...she's one of my faveorite performers. i love everything shes done (even with "till tuesday").

I finally tracked down one of the background songs I've been obsessing over: "warning signs" by coldplay

also love "no other way" by blur.

if i can figure out how to get a completed song list i was thinking a thread with links to all of them would be cool.

*also from Angels pilot episode "touched" by vast is an amazing song!

I love Aimee Mann performing Pavlov's Bell at the Bronze in Sleeper, when Spike and the other vamp are fighting & fall off the balcony. Love it when she says she "I hate playing vampire towns". 🙂
