such a shame, this looks like it would be have been kinda fun to watch
 
That looks really good. Although there is one thing about it that bothers me. Animated Dawn looks quite similiar to me! You know, if I was animated I'd probably look like that.
 
Ooh, they're so cute! But, even though some of the likenesses are very good (Willow, Joyce, Cordelia), others bother me. Buffy looks more like Amy Adams than SMG (well, at least in the black and white picture), Giles looks like he's a hundred years old, Xander's hair looks kind of like a mop on his head, and, well...*snickers at Angel's high pants and purple shirt*

Now that I've thought about it, as much as I wish this had been produced, I have a feeling that, if the animated series had been made, it might've tainted our fond memories of the show. I want people to remember Buffy as complex and brilliantly written, not some random kids' show (well, actually, I'm sure some people who haven't watched it already think of it as the latter, but that's aside the point...)
