Alright, there has been talks of a new BTVS movie to someday coming out. Of course it's not certain, we probably have a few years before then. But let's here what you want to see in a motion picture about the vampire slayer. Here's what I would like:

Writer/Producer: Of course Joss Whedon

Director: Alright, I'm probably going to get flamed for suggesting anyone but Joss. But to make the transition into film they might need a more experienced filmaker. But it needs to be someone who can appreciate and stay true to the original product. And who is better at doing this then Sam Raimi. When this guy worked on Spider Man he made sure everything was true to the original comic creatorions. I think a buffy movie made by him would be incredible to say the least, but also get to the heart of the characters at the same time.. He's also proven that he can do a good undead/demon flick even with a low budget (See:Evil Dead 2, Army Of Darkness)

Cast: Sarah Michelle Gellar, David Boreanez, Eliza Dushku, James Marsters, Allyson Hannigan, Anthony Stewart Head, Michelle Trachtenberg, Nicholas Brendon, Tom Lenk, Iyari Lemon, Alexis Denisof and Seth Green. AND Anthony Hopkins as the new evil rising.

Cameos: J. August Richards, Amy Acker, Andy Hallet, Mercedes Mcnab, DB Woodside (Sorry, you can't fit em all into an two hour long movie in a prominent role.

Plot: Five years after "Chosen", Buffy is a retired slayer who has taken residence in Europe, Giles has restarted The Watchers council in England while a hndful of scoobs including Xander, Willow, and Andrew lead a handful of slayers including Kennedy on the Clevleand Hellmouth. But trouble arises when an evil is unleashed out of the hellmouth, an evil so bad that it destroyed the first and this evil can take corpreal frorm, this evil figure will of course be played by Anthony Hopkins. This figure takes out/kills of most of the slayers in cleveland witihbhin the first fifteen minutes of the film, Kennedy will be among the casualities. Even Willow is powerless against this force. Once the council hears of this, they send out a scout, Oz, to locate and gather the missing and longest running slayers, Buffy and Faith. Once Buffy, Faith, Giles, and Oz get to the hellmouth they not only find chaos, but they almost get their asses handed to them by this evil dude. But it seems as if the calvarie arrives in the form Angel and Spike and Wesley, complicating things even more Buffy though. Together they must band together and destroy this new evil being.

Major scenes:

- Buffy finally makes her choice: Angel or Spike?

- A heart felt reunion between Buffy, Giles, Willow, and Xander.

- Oz consoling Willow about the death of her girlfriends.

- Faith in a very Matrix like battle with over two dozen vamps

- The GRand finale battle that will blow away the any season finale battle. The scoobs and the fang gang (That's where the cameos come in)vs. Anthony Hopkins and all the evils in the hellmouth.

-The Tragic death of Xander

-Willow unleashing her wicca power like never before as a good guy.

-Angel and Buffy engaging The evil in a two on one old fashioned sword fight. Angel gets dusted and looks like Buffy is about to die also. But as usual Buffy outsmarts the villain and comes through.

- The epilogue, mourning Xander's death, Willow gets promoted to goddesshood. And just as Buffy leaves the now completely dormant hellmouth, a figure walks out. This figure is Angel, not just Angel, but a shanshued Angel. And it ends with Buffy walking off with Angel ( I know it's corny, but if this is what is to end the Buffy saga, then it probably should end this way)

-After credits roll: Grr Arrg demon does something funny. Can't think of anything good now

Okay, I officially have too much time on my hands

I'd go to see that one Hostile17. Any of you guys run a major film studio with pots of cash? - see Hostile 17 pronto 🙂

yeah, that's teh way it should be....and its probably gonna end that way(hope that!!)...buffy and angel together in the end would(will)be priceless!

Wow guys thanks for the kind comments. And yes, I should have Studios knocking at my door any day now (*waits) Anywho, it just seems like Chosen wasn't the end, a movie seems like the perfect thing that would cap off both series. And the stuff that I entailed sounds like the perfect ending to me. They can even have the Angel series finale lead into the movie then have the Faith spinoff premiere after the movie (if it is indeed a Faith spinoff we get)

Steve Wright's radio show on BBC radio 2 this afternoon had an interview with Tony Head where he said a movie was a possibility for the future and that he was up for it if it happened. Also ASH is still willing to have a go at "Ripper" in whatever form it takes...

Get pitchin' Hostile 17🙂

Plot: The movie begins a few years after the great battle in "Chosen." Xander and Willow, along with the help of a top watcher sent by Giles (who is now head of the North American Division of the Watcher's Council) lead a small band of slayers, excluding Kennedy, who is dead, in Cleveland. Willow, after the loss of her one true love, Oz, and two girlfriends, has more or less given up on love from anyone, and Xander is back with Cordy who woke up from the odd coma missing large chunks of memory spanning from the time she became a "higher power" to the time she woke up from the coma. She remembers nothing of Conner. Giles summons Willow, Xander, Buffy, who is living in a cottage home, by herself, in Southern France, Angel, Wesley and Oz, who works with a small band of demon killers in Moscow, to Washington City (D.C.) to the N. American Watcher's Council HQ. He tells them of some great evil that wishes to destroy the whole human race. Unbeknownst to Giles and the rest, it is going to go back 125 thousand years and eliminate all the Cro-Magnons and Neanderthals on earth, thus destroying the human race when it was but newborn. The Powers that Be send Buffy, Angel, Giles, Spike, Wesley (Giles and Wesley are very well read in practically all history!) Faith, Oz, and Willow (Xander doesn't go; hell, he can hardly see with only one eye. He probably wouldn't last but 10 minutes in such a rough and dangerous place!) back to pre-historic Ice Age Europe to stop the new evil. The arrive in a small, very cold, glade, not far from a small cavern. It's daytime, and Angel and Spike freak out at first, but soon realize that the sun isn't showing- too overcast. At first, they know not where they are, but it isn't long before Ripper and Wesley realize what is happening, Problems do not arise with the fact that Spike and Angel cannot walk in the sunlight, for it never shows. It's always overcast, and often raining or snowing. Needless to say, the Being is immensely powerful, and can control animals (there were very dangerous animals alive during the Ice Age in Europe) and aside from that is about twice as strong as The Beast, though not quite as invulnerable. The Evil is able to rally a small army of uber-demons alive during the time, and a huge battle ensues at the climax (the shanshu apocalypse)

Main movie events:
--Of course, Buffy must decide between her two loves

--Lots of battles between the heroes and the primitive people

--Willow and Oz get back together

--A fight between Angel and Spike

--Some meaningful love scenes between Angel and Buffy, and possibly between Spike and Buffy

--Really good cinematography and awesome locations

--A smart, intelligent action movie that doesn't display pre-historic men and women as hairy, club-wielding retards

--Great lines from Spike (it's what we expect!)

--A wonderful film score by John Barry, the master at love themes, and very good at action scores. If you don't know who he is, he's scored such action movies as "Zulu," "Dances With Wolves," "King Kong," "The Last Valley" (which included a beautiful theme to represent the actual valley) and I believe 11 or 13 or something like that, James Bond movies, including all of the Connery Bonds, except Dr. No, and such love movies as "Somewhere In Time," "Robin and Marian," "Mary, Queen of Scots," and tons of others. Just take my word for it, he'd be perfect. And, if he wouldn't do it (he's kinda, sorta, retired, or so he says, because he still does movies, just like one a year) Jerry Goldsmith would also be perfect.

--an amazing final battle in which Buffy, Angel, Willow, under-Oz-control Werewolf Oz, and Spike battle the demon himself.
--Angel, after sacrificing himself to save Buffy and Spike, dies. Spike then gets dusted, and Buffy kills the demon. After the battle is over, Angel returns as human, but the same thing happens to Spike! However, Spike doesn't stay. He only comes back to say a few words to Buffy and company, then his soul is finally allowed to rest. Angel and Buffy, along with the surviving characters, return to the present, and Buffy and Angel live together in Buffy's cottage in beautiful Southern France!

--Willow and Oz also get together, they get married, and live somewhere.

There's more, but I'm a little braindead right now!

Director: I know this is gonna sound silly, but Peter Jackson! I mean, I think that the LotR look and feel would be absolutely perfect for Buffy! And if he did it, and the movie had a decent budget, I think it could be a major success, just like LotR, but, of course, this would never happen.

I know that this may not be a perfectly fitting end to the Buffy saga, but hey, there can be more movies! Even a trilogy!

I don't know, time travel is kinda too big an element to introduce in what would be the last chapter of the Buffyverse

Ok. Here's my speculation. Joss, dissatisfied with the way Firefly was received, decides to incorporate Firefly into the world of Buffy....

There. Happy now? 😱
