BtVS Widescreen

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread but i was wondering how can get the widescreen version of Buffy in the dvd cause on screencap paradise there widescreen screencaps so how come the boxsets don't have the option for widescreen?

According to an insert in one of the seasons (I don't remember which one), Joss chose not to release them in widescreen because they didn't show as widescreen on TV (except for OMWF). I have no idea how anybody got widescreen screen caps.

Screencap paradise doesn't have all the screens in widescreen, the first 3 seasons aren't, so maybe they just put those last seasons on widescreen? Could be, because Angel is also in widescreen.

i don't get why Joss wouldn't have atleast have an option for 16x9 cause Buffy looks awesome in widescreen it gives a movie feel for me and im sick and tired of full screen.
