Didn't see anything like this around and figured this was the best place for it so here is my thought/question.
Me and my BFF in our early teens use to do Buffy all nighter's where she'd stay at my house for the weekend and we pack up on junk food. Then we'd stay up all night watching entire seasons of Buffy or Angel (sometimes a show called Roswell) and then sleep during the day so we could stay up all night the next night for another season. We'd re-watch season in a flash that way 🙂 Aww the memories I use to love those times. Now I have a kid and all nighter's are out of the question, lol.

So anyway I am woundering has anyone else ever pulled all nighter's and watched Anything Buffyverse. And any good memories it brings up? Or maybe you still do them?

I would love to do a all nighter but I can't manage that even for our Buffy. The most episodes I have watched late at night with my ex boyfriend who I miss so much was like 6 episodes. Those were the days cuddled up in bed with him, now he has the boxset which I brought him which he will complete without me 🙁

All nighter? Nope. Watched episodes late into the evening before realizing how late it was? Many a time - with Buffy, Angel, and Firefly.

I do that all the time, during holidays when school's out I usually do a Buffy re-watch of the whole show and all nighters are inevitable. I do it with other shows too that I watch and movies, I stayed up all night watching all three Starship Troopers movies just last weekend 😀

Never tried that.

I love to sleep, but the thing is I really can't sleep when it's day outside. The longets I managed to stay awake because of Buffy is 4 am, and it was on summer breaks.

Well when I first watched, it was over the summer and I had absolutely nothing to do but watch these shows and sleep. So I watched all 7 seasons of Buffy in like 4 1/2 or 5 days and all 5 of Angel in like 3. I would stay up for like 23 ish hours watching a season and a half with Buffy and for Angel I pretty much didn't sleep the entire five seasons. I also am a bit nocturnal so I stay up all night as a default.

One of my college roommates and I did this. The 7th season was about to air, and I was able to get her into it. We watched the whole show (seasons 1-6) really quickly, with plenty of all-nighters, even going to Walmart at 3AM if we needed the next season in some cases! It was really fun.

The night before her wedding, we didn't do an all-nighter, but we did stay up late into the night watching Buffy (ending with the musical). 🙂

I did it once.. And I regretted it the day after because I had to go to school -_-
I was watching season 5 from 10 pm till 6 am next morning xD

Oh me and my sis used to do that all the time in high school... aah good times 🙂 We don't do them anymore though, we're old and we get tired ;P ... nah just kidding, guess we just have more important 'day time' stuff now and can't afford to sleep the days away like before.

Buffy and Angel were our main shows to do that with because, well they're brilliant, but I remember we did the same with the first season of 24 as well

(Best memory is pausing on the menu during 24 to discuss an epsiode, we were completely alone in a big ol' house, and then suddenly this creepy voice says "that's riiight, I'm watching you..."

Dude, we shrieked so loud and flew up from the bed terrified! We had yet to reach the episode when the show's bad guy says that and weren't prepared for the voice loop to suddenly appear on the menu setting 😀 Mighty unsettling let me tell you.)

No, I have nerver done that with Buffy episodes or seasons.
However, one sunday I watched about half a season, because I was too exhausted to get up.🙄

But I did this all night thing with the 3 old Star Wars movies and all 4 Indiana Jones movies. That was cool.😀

Nope never did that- I wish I had someone to watch Buffy with besides my kids. 🙁 Well, sometimes DH will watch ATS with me. The most I can watch is 3-4 eps/day, and that's not everyday, which is why this rewatch is taking so long (I started in August).

I can't wait for that time down the road when I'll get to cuddle up to my wife and pop in some Buffy.

She'll get to enjoy the first three seasons and I'll get the rest all to myself pleasure wise. Did I mention I plan on marrying a Bangel? That's one way to keep things interesting.

I believe I have, though can't remember when. I do daily marathorns though. I can watch many many episode at one time. Nighter one? Probably not in years. Maybe some time with friends. But I'd rather watch by myself.

Me and my friend used to do this all the time!! But sadly when I moved from London to Iowa this ended 🙁

I havnt found a fellow Buffy nut in Iowa yet lol

I have pulled "half-nighters" by myself. The first time I watched Buffy, it was on DVD. When I hit season 2, and things really started to take off, I couldn't stop. I watched 3-5 episodes a night until I finished the series. Things were incredibly busy at work, and I went in exhausted every day because I'd been up until 2 or 3 am watching Buffy, and then had to be at work at 7:30am. I regret nothing.

Awwww! I used to do buffy all nighters all the time when i first started watching. :')
good times.

I used to do it with my ex boyfriend. He always told me he hated the show so I would tell him I was going to watch it alone, knowing he would join me. Then I would go to do something else and he would say "just one more." We would watch like 5 or 6 at a time.
