I just read the book Monster Island, and it turns out that one or both of the writers are in favor of B/A. I'm pretty sure from words and phrases like these in the book.

Begrudgingly they had resigned themselves to that fact. It still hurt to speak to him, and worse to see him, but this was how it was meant to be. She hated it, but accepted it.

Angel would say or do nothing that would make it more difficult for them. But whatever fate wrought upon them, he would always love her.
Sometimes it's hard to know what a published author is in favor of (B/A, B/S, W/O, etc.).
Have any of you come across books like this?
